The very first time i had to drop my boyfriend off at the airport because he was moving back to the other side of the country, I could relate so much:( Sad tension throughout the car ride, holding hands the whole time, nonstop tears, lump in your throat, and your heart literally feels like its breaking. I never knew how hard goodbyes could be until i got into a long distance relationship, however, knowing so many other ldr couples go through the same thing make me feel so much better. So happy for you two, and I hope mine turns out the same :))

You'll be seeing Sam soon and these airport goodbye scenes will soon be over. i spent nearly 19 years in a LDR, and during that time we lived together a total of about six years. We never legally got married and just never seemed to be able to get to a point where we were together permanently, something I have regretted for so long as she passed away in 2010.

I felt so weird watching this because it was like watching myself! My husband and I got engaged when we were long distance (2000 miles apart) and I had to go back home a few days later. Now we have been happily married for 6 months and living together for almost 4 months :) Love to you both!
