What direction does the the stripper bar rotate as viewed looking at left side of the tractor? The wider end on the left appears to be turning counter clockwise? What was design idea behind this? It looks like it pushes the hay down as the hay rake tines pile the hay into the windrow. Thank you for the nice video, you have a great looking farm.
I will have to agree about the bar rake they do a good job I pulled them over many acres, and I understand that whatever gets the job done, but we use a wheel rake and it rakes the field just as clean as what your rake does just saying but like you said to each his own the main thing is to get the hay up, don't get me wrong I have used the bar rake a bunch, and I am a John deer man but I also like the older Ford tractor I drove them a lot also, good luck with your hay.
I wish I could find some old equipment to use with my 3400 tractor for hay production. I'm having trouble getting someone to cut for me and it is a problem, plus if I could make the hay I could afford to spend more to improve the land. Any suggestions for finding old equipment?
