    Scissors are part of the kit for cutting line, but I find a nail clipper as well, allows you to cut closer to the swivel or hook shank.

    Brilliant mate. Taught me a thing or two. That uni knot I use for everything too, but until you showed me it to tie braid to nylon, I never thought to use it. Been struggling like a clown, trying to tie FG knots and Albright knots, and been terrible at tying them. Those hook keeper things are awesome. I gotta get me some of them. Just a great video mate, and once again, is another example of what sets your channel apart from the rest. Yours is the only channel I learn anything from.

      Thanks Darren, that's a huge complement and greatly appreciated. I think this rig will serve us really well once we can get out of lockdown especially on those bigger models species that we are after. I tend to use the double uni a lot especially when on the water as I can tie it much faster than other knots and never lost a fish to a faulty double uni knot. Using this time to really nut out some requests from people on rigging and fishing techniques and updates on the website. Fingers crossed we are back at it soon !!

    Is the slider for letting more line through after the sinker hits the bottom? Would a paternoster rig with a long length on it work in a similar way?

    Why dont you try putting the lumo bead on the other side of the knot you used to join the lines it will do a better job of protecting your rod guides it also stop your joining knot from going through the guides

    Sorry arms width

  • @Expedient_Mensch
    @Expedient_Mensch 28 днів тому

    Allen, on average, the distance between your fingertips, when your arms are wide apart, is equal to your height. Your arms stretch is one meter, are you a hobbit?😄

  • @adamheazlett1179
    @adamheazlett1179 3 роки тому +1

  • @Pointless-fishing-adventures
    @Pointless-fishing-adventures 2 роки тому +1

    Not to be rude but unless you are 1m tall a full arms stretch with both arms like that is way more than a metre.
