These Lishen cells are pretty good quality, on par with Samsung 40T but expect a lot of 100/140W PD charging to really the life cycle count. Cells that are driven near their max will degrade much faster than standard 800-1200 cycle life. Check the datasheet to see if Lishen goes into detail or just gives one number

Hi there, I have a favor to ask you for. I watched your video and opened up my defected anker 737 today, I didnt have a grinder so i had to pry it open with a spudger. I succesfully opened it up but in a process i broke its display lcd. I was wondering if you still have that display with you somewhere sitting and if its not in use can i buy it from you ? I'd really appreciate it and it might help me revive my powerbank, since I kind of figured out what's wrong with it, it's b2, b4 and b6 batteries are under voltage, rest of the 3 cells are around 4volts but these 3 are between 3.01-3.17. they discharge to less than 2.5 very quickly and the powerbank shuts down automatically. I was initially thinking it might be the firmware issue but um its not, Maybe just a BMS and these 3 cells are the main issue here which i'll try my best to fix on my own but i broke my display.
Please let me know if you read my comment, if i could buy your tore down 737 display. i have very low hopes but um yeah.

Anyway it turns out that the battery thinks it's temp is -40 and it's basically given up saying it's got 5% battery and 0 cycles on the detail screen 5% on the other screen. Won't take a charge and won't give a charge. I'm really not impressed with such an expensive piece of kit doing this so quickly I wanted it to last me years at that price. Seems like they've overcomplicated things with the software and it has glitched displaying incorrect information. The next day the screen was completely dead as if the battery is thoroughly drained itself will not take a charge or anything. 👎

It also had issues withthe steam deck and would require a full reboot (by leaving it for 10 mins unused) to try and get the right wattage. but as soon as you plug a 20w phoen in the 38 watt charge went down to 22w... Was an absolutely awful product, I showed the videos of the poor performance and anker's response was this is normal function. I find the 140w number extremely misleading

There is one missing information, can we replace old cells ? It is hard to open, true, but in india they use gasoline to open battery packs from laptops, so this could help here. But if electronics will not allow to be reset it is going to be hard to use it in the future. There is one infomration than you can connect USB IN and OUT for 5 secons and power bank shoud reset.

@@run00n0 Nonsense. There is no communication for that purpose.
Clearly the basics of electricity are not understood. I shall explain.
When a power source specifies a watt figure, this is the maximum power that can be drawn from the power supply. It does NOT mean that the power source will always deliver 140 watts regardless of what you connect to it.
For voltage sources, which this is (as opposed to a current source), a set voltage is output. Now, the load, the thing the power source is connected to, will draw current and how much current is drawn is entirely up to the load (within limits which are set by the power source).
So the the power drawn is a combination of the voltage and current (P=V.I), therefore as the load or different loads draw different amounts of current, the power drawn from the source also changes.
So if you connect a 140W charger to a 40W IPad, then as long as the power supply has the correct voltage for the IPad, then there is no problem, the IPad will draw the amount of current it needs, and the power source -the battery - can deliver it (because the requirement of 40W is less than the maximum power of 140W the power source can deliver).
No need for any communication between battery and IPad.
Now, USB-C supports multiple voltages, unlike earlier versions of USB which are all fixed at 5 volts, so there is a danger that too high a voltage could be delivered to the load, to the device being charged, and that is then where communication comes in, to ensure that the correct charging voltage is used.
