I have been cutting my own hair for years and now that I’m older it’s getting harder to do. I got my hair cut at a salon 6 weeks ago and that reminded me why I cut my own hair! Great video but it would be easier to see what you're doing if you wore a lighter color when working with darker hair or a darker color if you were working with lighter hair.

Hello, I’m New to your channel and really enjoying you’re teaching. Can I use same technique for curly hair ?
I have 2c hair that is somewhere between wavy and curly and this technique worked for me and gave me the shape I was looking for. However, I pulled my rubber bands out further so that the shorter layers would have a little more length to accommodate my curls shrinking up.
