I love your videos but would like to make a recommendation. Whenever your cutting a dark hair mannequin, you shouldn't wear black. It's hard to decipher what your doing cutting dark hair against a black background. Otherwise, keep these awesome videos coming!
Your ROCK, my man! I followed your instructions on Hair Volume: Part 1 and although I only cut an inch (I've got a lob) it turned out AMAZING! I've found my hairdresser. i've liked, subscribed and will not even consider watching a DIY tutorial from anybody else! THANK YOU ❤

Thank you for sharing this technique, Jake! I really appreciate the thorough explanation for us who are not hair experts. Just one suggestion, please use light hair heads when wearing a black outfit, or wear a light colored shirt when cutting brunette hair. Otherwise it is a bit hard to follow what you are doing or how the cut looks. Thank you! 💓

But I was curious about whether or not that cut could be mixed with the one you just showed us. I'm always up for trying new ways to make my hair look like I just walked out of a wind tunnel LOL. I would be really grateful for a hack regarding cutting a blunt line. I tried hair volume part 1 and liked it a lot, it did give some bob shape on long hair, but it looked good. Thanks for all your advice

I watched your Hair Volume: Part 1 DIY and have a question: I have thin hair in a one length lob that is looking stringy and after COVID, I have hair loss at the very front - IOW, from the center of my hairline back about 2 1/2 inches. I part my lob to the side to disguise that. QUESTION: Which technique would work best with a deep side part? Part 1 for volume or this one, Part 2? I sure hope you see this comment!
