@@griffgranger I was just gonna say. Half these snow clearing guys on youtube using blowers don't need them and are actually less efficient. You on the other hand, need one. hahahaha
We do have a blower for this machine. We use the blade for the first go around, then we break out the big guns lol Stay tuned for a video on the blower!
Wow! So many views and no one left a comment? I enjoyed your video and it was nice to see a plow video filmed so close to where I live. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
just curious, are you working for the county doing this or is it your personal equipment doing it out of the kindness of your heart ? Either way, you are very professional. Great videos
It makes perfect sense actually! We do it because if we only back drag the snow out, we leave snow packed on the driveway. If we push into the driveway, we are able to scrape all the snow off down to the asphalt. Here in Tahoe, we have a lot of wet, heavy snow that packs easily.
@@maineman11 I still would have my doubts about that working because as soon as you run over wet snow with a 35,000 pound machine, you inherently pack the snow really hard which is hard to rip up
@@griffgranger I'm sure there are plenty of UA-cam videos that demonstrate the back-dragging edge videos that you seek. I know I have back-dragged with and without said edge installed.
Hello. A greeting from Norway. A country with a lot of snow. I have cleared a lot of snow here I live in the winter. I think you spend too much time on what you do. You're not effective enough. That's my opinion. Wish you a nice day.
I am not claiming to be an expert or trying to teach anyone. Simply just sharing my work and I am always learning how I can be more efficient. Thanks for watching!
I spent my my entire youth in Lake Tahoe…the only thing we got from the plow drivers was a 4 ft birm.
Ahh nothing like a set of diamond chains for traction and longevity. Thanks for the great videos from a new subscriber . Keep it up my guy
Thanks for Subscribing! The diamond chains are bad to the bone. They make the machine incredibly capable. Cheers!
Love the plowing videos keep up the great work
Personally this perspective is great compared to other vid, this one higher up can see more. 😉 Looking forward to more content!
Thanks for the feedback!! I have more videos from this perspective that I’ll be posting soon
Master class on snow plowing! Thanks for sharing.
PRO. Second to none.
Thank you!!
The bears must hibernate until JULY!! So do the people!!
Move a lot of dam snow with that set up
Its a beast! We also have blower for this machine I'll post a video of soon. The blower really moves a lot of snow. Thanks for watching!

Also, your mom sacrificed her commission on the sale of our house to help us by our home. She’s amazing and we love her
Nice work! Wondering if a snow blower would be easer way to move the snow off to this side.

Hey griffin. Thx for the upload. I’m in MT now. Take care buddy. Be safe. I’ve got only 5” in my front yard, you guys are in a world of hurt.
Hey Rusty, awesome to hear my mom was able to help you out. She is truly amazing. Thanks for checking out the video. Hope you are doing well!
Nice work!
And a very nice machine for moving white misery.
Thank you very much!
Be thankful for the moisture!!
Funny how some of these people know how you should be doing your job!!
Where would someone go to learn how to operate one of those? I would love to drive one!
Move up to Tahoe and i'm sure someone will happily hire you!
Very nice shape for a 1998
Garage kept!
Great job, great video. 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks! More plowing videos coming soon!
Great video bud
Thank you!
If it wasn’t for the fact that Lake Tahoe was in California I’d love to live there.
I live in Nevada.... truly blessed to live on the eastern lake Tahoe shore.
Where in Tahoe is this?
Longer snow blade?
If you mean wider, then no. It should only be the width (at the most) of the machine for plowing roads with obstacles on the sides.
@@scrolemodel
I thought you could angle the blade in tight spots.
With some of the tighter driveways we need to get into, the 12 foot blade is perfect. 14ft would be the next size up and is too big for us
Watching your video's are so therapeutic, But I wonder could a giant snowblower work better?
We have a blower for this machine. Stay tuned for a video on that!

i imagine hes not doing it for free regardless
What year machine is that? Great vid by the way 👍
Thanks! It's a 1998
At least there aren't a lot of cars in your way....

Pushing the snow up the driveway, only back drag it all back out, makes zero sense.

@@griffgranger So then put on a back-drag edge on the blade like we do here in Maine. It makes plowing more efficient.
@@maineman11 I still would have my doubts about that working because as soon as you run over wet snow with a 35,000 pound machine, you inherently pack the snow really hard which is hard to rip up
