    Avoid taking a taxi at all cost, as Daikoku PA (or any PA really) is a parking or service area for people to rest on a long drive. You'll encounter difficulty getting out of a highway PA with a taxi. Taxis typically don't venture into these areas, making it impossible to flag one down. Additionally, cab apps won't be of assistance as taxis won't deviate from their routes to the highway PA to pick up passengers.
    Besides that, good video.

    I plan book a Klook where one of the drivers will bring me to Daikoku in his own modified car. the tour will take place 6:30-11:30. Can I expect a lot of cars during this time?

    • @JaysonSantoyo
      @JaysonSantoyo  2 дні тому

      Yes, you should be able to see many nice cars during that time. Enjoy Japan! If you're looking for more things to do, check out my Japan Playlist of videos! I tried to be as informative as I could in each video -

    is taking a taxi to and from viable? im trying to go with a group of 6 so we were gonna order 2 taxis each way from yokohama. we were gonna go on a Friday night

    • @JaysonSantoyo
      @JaysonSantoyo  Рік тому +3

      Yes, it’s doable. Make sure you research and book a return taxi in advance. It actually might be more fun to rent a car and drive out there for the group. I have another video on how to rent a car in Japan, check it out if you have time!

      @@JaysonSantoyo word this will be my 4th time to japan but for most of my friends its their first time, we’re doing a 10 day trip and i was just gonna show them around Tokyo and then yokohama for a day, (ive never been to yokohama). Were going in January, Renting a car sounds cool but idk if its the move for us ill definitely check your video on it! Also a side note do you know any less known wards to hit in Tokyo? We’re gonna hit all the essentials but i have 2 half days open on our itinerary and trying to find some good ways to fill them.

Specifically, try to watch the ‘Top 10 things to do in Tokyo for car enthusiasts’ video. It’s going to be an epic trip with all of your planning. I might see you around the area!

    • @JaysonSantoyo
      @JaysonSantoyo  9 місяців тому

      It's pretty much a parking lot rest stop for truck drivers. There is no payment to participate. You can walk around the parking lot and there are vending machines in the area!

    got a reply from Gaijin Tuned Car Club and they offer membership packages as way to be able to get the full Daikoku experience on board a GTr35. and roam around tokyo for around 4hours! this includes pick up at akihabara area and drop off at your hotel.

    • @JaysonSantoyo
      @JaysonSantoyo  7 місяців тому +1

      There are a few other ways to get there. You can look up private tours that take you to Daikoku PA. A popular choice is chartering with Liberty Walk GTR's and RWB Porsches. I'm not sure of the name for the specific companies but you can find them with a quick google search. I have some friends that hired the experience and they had a great time.

    Renting a car, roll into Daikoku PA and park next to a dope car? Is that ok? Is there a section where I can park with the normal cars? haha
