Thank you so much for going over the main combos for condi mirage, I see all these videos and guides about it, but they never go over how to actually do damage. It's really helpful for me just starting to play mesmer and has no idea what i'm doing.
I really want to know how do you speed rush or blink or whatever that is with using your stamina, mine is getting me some heal with stamina following all of your guides in this video. Also I like your videos very much, watched some of them even before I bought the actual game. Sorry for kinda noobish question, it's kinda 3rd week of GW2 for me..still lot to learn.
Mirage Thrust is probably what you are asking. When you are a mirage wielding sword you can dodge and press 1 to move at your target/forward(if you have no target) like a lunge

This is great coming back after a few years away to my mesmer was a little over whelming, im not sure if i missed it or not but what type of armour would you reccomend for this build. At the moment i am using carrion.
So how does this build perform vs a grear core guard and fb? Even with the build i use i can beat them but holy crap do i gotta really work for it. Spellbreaker is another but not as annoying as core and fb guard
Paul Nitzsche Optimal build is the old meta build. However it’s impossible for Mesmer to kill boonbeast. It was designed and created to hardcounter Mesmer and you should never beat it. Warrior however is an easy 1v1 for all specs right now.
Yeah, easy to play... for people familiar wit how to do mesmer. What I find by playing these builds I see on any video or even Metabattle, is that the outcomes are not at all what the builds say. I get quite easily discouraged by results that are not at all what these guides say should happen. I try to disengage with blink. With portal. With mirage thrust. I get held down so hard by a single soulbeast just standing there waving at me while I am forced to deal with immob from halfway across the map from binding roots that took hold 30 seconds before. I do not understand why cleansing does not take the immob away. It can be the only condition on my bar, and nothing. Jaunt does not take it. Sigil of Cleansing neither. I am frustrated because I cannot play like these guides do, even though I use the same specs, the same gear, the same tactics. My results vary VASTLY from what I see.
CaelSkielsthear If you lost to a rifle warrior. You are playing wrong. Relax and try to focus. Take a break and come back. You are probs playing too aggressively

CaelSkielsthear No. wvw is much easier playing unrestricted builds. The reality is you are probably just relying on the strength of your class instead of learning matchups and how to effectively use your skills. If you aren’t willing to practice. I would I’d up. But if it’s important to you then you need to start relearning to play correctly instead of probably abusing OP mechanics.

Something I would love in the new expansion is an armor set with Condi Damage, Healing Power, Concentration, and Expertise.

I think too much defensive build =/ i srsly miss illusion trait line, this one with new inspi is too kite for me

CaelSkielsthear It’s ok. I’d try to save F4 for imobs and play patiently. If you get imob also use jaunt so the roots aren’t constantly reapplying

Mike Zigi No. the aoe damage is needed when playing inspirations. IH is only good for ranged weapons. Staff, scepter, greatsword

Gargamel Yes but it’s melee and extremely telegraphed. The aoe bleeds are very subtly and difficult to dodge because they are instant.
