I've noticed your number of attempts are getting consistently lower the more you do these recreations... very impressed, keep it up. Cheers, from Hamilton, New Zealand
With shots like shot F, you could use editing to superimpose most of the balls on the table and only have the white, black and the single red you need to cannon as actual real balls on the table. So if you mess up you’ll never have to reposition all the balls.
It’s an idea but overall it would be about as difficult as marking the ball’s position with chalk which is what I usually do. If you do that you can get them replaced in seconds I just moan about it for comedy value sometimes
@@RandomIndyWrestling probably the first few times, but the more we do thangs the easier and quicker it'd become 😎 probably faster in the long run imp!
As a excellent snooker player myself ( well in my own mind) i have always taken for granted how easy the professionals make the game look. With your videos attempting to recreate the pro shots it just shows to the likes of myself just how difficult these shots are as you are far better at wielding a cue than most. As professionals these guys have to see the shot and then execute the shot in one attempt.
This video shows how good these professional player's are who get it on the first attempt. Great video and impressed with support you got from the crowd 😁👌🏾
Given the fact that these pro tables are so well maintained - and heated (so comparitively you're practically trying to replicate razor cuts with a spoon) I think you're quite modest with your accuracy marking, some of these were a deserved 10/10
My 'Shot of the Season' was Ronnie's safety against John Higgins in the World Championship, somewhere towards the end of the match. John 'bounced' his cue on the table before nodding a while in appreciation. Gutted it wasn't included the other week. Great content as always though, cheers! Dean from Lochwinnoch, Scotland.
Edit: Watching this again it really puts it into perspective how many possible outcomes there can be in each attempt of the same shot - and some of these shots are played under a lot of pressure with all of them being precisely what they needed to be. Especially Maguire's shot from 2 nil down in a best of 7. They make it look so easy. Big fan of the channel dude, and, btw, now I only play snooker - you gave me the bug.
Hiya, love your videos and I am an avid snooker player myself, highest break 60. One shot I would love to see you recreate is Mark Kings shot against Barry Hawkins in the penultimate frame of the 2016 Northern Ireland open, when he doubled the final pink, table length, to rest right against the black that was over the pocket, forcing Hawkins to foul the black. Its got to be one of the best shots ever 😀
There was so many great shots even during World Championship, hard to pin down the best one. Z snooker definitely one of the sickest. Greetings from Severodvinsk, Russia.
Shot Z (Matthew Stevens' snooker) is my favorite - a perfect combination of the line and pace. Even though you almost made it in 1 attempt, it still looks incredibly fascinating! And thanks a lot for your hard work on preparing these videos! I'm from Saratov, Russia.
Can you make videos analysing players pre-sighright and post sightright? Discuss about the change in stance or cue action? Would like to see you do this video👍🏻
hello, I was wondering what the song at the start of your video was. I'm attempting UA-cam at the moment and it seems like one of the only good copyright free songs I've heard in a while
Hello, been watching for a while now and a big fan. I’m curious to know how good you are at snooker. I imagine you’re a top club player, but compared to the amateurs who try their hand on the pro circuit, how close are you to them?
Would you ever do a video where someone else would set up one of these shots and you go in blind? Have as many attempts to play you're perfect shot and see how it compares to the pros? Videos are awesome and you're extremely talented so it would be cool to compare your thought process with the pros and see if you both come up with the same shot
Why does the table always look shorter and wider on the TV? You seem to have the camera in the same place and have the same amount of peripheral view. Some kind of effect? Or lense?
Wondering if you’d consider trying to recreate the entire 69 break done by Alex Higgins in 1982 since you tried doing the 1 blue shot. Crazy it was done now 40 years ago and people are still talking about it.
Watching basically all of your videos by now, it's always good stuff. But the thing you do with your queue after hitting some shots like shot D looks pretty disgusting, might as well play it with a pool cue :D whatever happened to staying down on your shot and creating spin through consistent follow-through? :D greetings from Bochum
Can you do matches with other channel like bartonsnooker, and upload it in the channel, as we already miss watching snooker. It will help the wait until it’s return
With shot F, it might be easier to get your hand on the table like Maguire. Thanks to Ronnie O. Also, How much would it be to resurface your table. Maybe Ronnie O will spot some funds if you email him
For a while, I thought it was more like, 'best shots of the season, top 16 only' - and it is mostly top players, as well as ex-top players, future top players, and Kurt Maflin who somehow finds himself at Q-School next week...Jesus, that's incredible, Holty is just getting old, Martin O'Donnell is like watching paint dry but more boring, but Kurt Maflin was just starting to fulfil his potential...well, anyway, I know your human audience would only really be interested in the top guys so that's fair enough. I'm just stuck on Maflin now. Bloody hell.
I've noticed your number of attempts are getting consistently lower the more you do these recreations... very impressed, keep it up.
Cheers, from Hamilton, New Zealand
Last time I saw your comment we couldn't play snooker in Whangarei. Close to a year on and i've played probably around 100 games! Woohoo!
With shots like shot F, you could use editing to superimpose most of the balls on the table and only have the white, black and the single red you need to cannon as actual real balls on the table. So if you mess up you’ll never have to reposition all the balls.
yeah but that's no fun is it! haha
It’s an idea but overall it would be about as difficult as marking the ball’s position with chalk which is what I usually do. If you do that you can get them replaced in seconds I just moan about it for comedy value sometimes
I should imagine setting it up on the computer would be just as hard.
@@RandomIndyWrestling Really? He only has to set the balls up once, take a photo then just merge it into the video..

Those trick shots at the start are always fantastic😅
Just found this channel and I've been binging loads of your videos this evening, keep the content coming!

Hey ! Awesome videos .... Thanks! -- You'll find me in Casablanca, Morocco

Keep it up brother i like the way you explained from Pakistan
Any tips on how to make sure you don't go in-off in that Ronnie cocked hat double? 17:36
Back spin rather than top spin.
Shot I was 10/10!!
Can you make videos analysing players pre-sighright and post sightright? Discuss about the change in stance or cue action? Would like to see you do this video👍🏻
I think the shot I (Mark Williams's long red and cannoning another red to stay on the black) was perfectly recreated, don't be so hard on yourself 😀
Im starting to play snooker in indianapolis in the US any reccomendations for beginner drills
What song is it that plays when you show the comparison between the original shot and the recreated one?
Hello from Peshawar, Pakistan
hello, I was wondering what the song at the start of your video was. I'm attempting UA-cam at the moment and it seems like one of the only good copyright free songs I've heard in a while
I've noticed the crowd seems to be more interested in tuna than the snooker shot.
Shot Z for me. Brad from Winnipeg Canada

when I make a bridge it feels like I am using too much power or my hand (bridge hand) keeps tight. Is it okay?
Hello I'm George from Yerevan, Armenia.
I would have love the see the shot on the black in ronnie position in shot y
So unhappy that Mark didn't make it to the final. Great shot selection, well done.

Would love to see World Snooker invite you to do something like this on the pro tables.
Snooker is just not modern enough to do cool stuff like this, may be in future they keep up with the world.
Can you do matches with other channel like bartonsnooker, and upload it in the channel, as we already miss watching snooker. It will help the wait until it’s return

Why do you use an English pool cue ball sometimes? Is it because they are smaller and help with the screw shots?
Can anyone share me with music link used in this video??
This guy is a snooker jedi.
You are great

The crowd looks to be very judgemental lol
