Honestly this whole list could’ve just been Luca shots. There’s a handful of more insane shots he made that didn’t make it but it shows how dominant he was. Definitely one of if not the most impressive tournaments from an individual that we’ve ever seen
The amount of insane shots he made throughout the tournament, and the players he had to beat, really made him the most worthy of this years world championship. He almost made it all look easy.
I really love these recreation videos because it demonstrates how good the top professionals are. You sometimes describe a shot as an ‘exhibition’ shot. What defines an ‘exhibition’ shot versus a competition shot? Is it just the amount of risk involved?
Another season gone. Thanks for the uploads you have kept all us snooker fans entertained thats for sure. It would be good if we could see the best shot from each year in a single video - just a suggestion. And congrats to Luca. I thought he was dead and buried against Si. That was a comeback of the ages. As good as Stephen Hendry vs Mike Hallet IMO.
I was rooting for selby, because he is just so good😀, the amount of risks Luca took, and how good he played, he is the champ for a reason. Fortune favours the bold.
I remember watching Luca play that amazing shot from the black and I swear my first thought was how difficult you would find it to recreate it!But as always you came up with the goods!
love your videos mate! I actually went to Sheffield this year to see jack against mccill...sadly it was the first session, so my man jack hasn't had the best time on the snooker table. greetings from Berlin :) Best, Karl
I always look forward to these videos nowadays. I knew plenty of Luca's shots would be on here, because the man just played a blinder but I was glad to see some of Si's as well. They're both very entertaining players to watch, because they almost always go for shots that other so many other players would likely refuse.
I don't have my own table yet, and I'm new to snooker, haven't even played a game in real life. You're videos are extremely helpful! I've noticed about improvement in the games I play on weekends. I'm learning to look ahead and play position on the next ball rather than just sink a ball every turn. Thanks for everything mate I look forward to more🤙 Dustin, MN, USA
So many awesome shots played by Luca.... No wonder he won the Championship... Also, to beat Ronnie, Mark Williams and Mark Selby in the same tournament 😮😮😮
Greetings from Storm Lake, IA! I've been highly excited to see this video ever since I started following the action. My dad and I play 10 reds on our American table, two frames a day. 🔴 ⚫
Man I love how you explain how hard these shots so easily. These professionals are so good they make it look easy but it’s nowhere near easy. I don’t think I could pot 1/10 shots like mark Allen with the first shot you done.
Si Jia Hui is pronounced Sir Jyar Hway, not See Jah Wee. That might come in handy to know as he seems destined to become a regular high performer. It was a brilliant world champs to watch this year!
sir is more like s-euh and jia is more like j-ee-ah. Glad to see someone else helping out with the Chinese pronunciation. Though usually xenophobes either vote it down or spout some bile.
@@formulaic78 I get what you're saying, with regard to pronunciation. I lived in China for 6 years, but not an expert. Pinyin isn't too useful for one who hasn't learned it, so I suggest a pronunciation which is far closer, and easily comprehensible For example, I wouldn't use j-ee-ah, because an emphasis on the slight ee sound is barely noticeable. Perhaps it depends on accents. The Jy combination almost implies a slight ee sound too. In my experience, when Chinese say it fluently and quickly, it pretty much sounds like one syllable Jar, without an r tongue roll to complete, rather than jee-ah as 2 syllables.
@@colincolenso yeah the ee in jia is said very quickly. But jar just wouldn't sound right to me especially as I know how people would pronounce that, like jar jar Binks! Maybe also depends which Chinese pronunciation we're talking about too. The jar sound might be more north China, whereas I live in Shanghai? e.g. yi dianr becomes yi dian here. If the commentators could just get the s-euh and hway right though I'd be 😊
Brecel's game plan was simple: Step 1) If there is a pot on, go for it. You have to got quite the potting skills to excecute that effectively though. Step 2) Slightly loose the cue ball. Step 3) Use ridiculous cueing power to get on the next ball.
Great video, as always. I have an idea for you, perhaps. You can make a series of videos similar to the recreational once, but with finding alternative ways to play difficult position, cannon and escaping shots, just maybe keeping it challenging sometimes for the entertainment.
Brecel has a great cue action and a solid defensive game, that's it, he won the title after some incredible games. 2 months out relaxing and he went from not winning a game at the worlds to winning the title. Snooker is played in the head, look at when Williams last won, the head does most of the leg work.
watching wc was a good way to distract myself for a bit from all that terrible stuff that is happening here in Ukraine - seemed to me like Luca can pot anything without much safety game + some luck - hopefully he will continue to work on his game instead of partying too much. Love the bit of commentary about every match outcome on every shot that you do - that way I can keep up with snooker without watching all of the tournaments, greetings from Lviv
Bro, I started playing snooker a few months ago. My game is terrible. I can only pot a single ball at a time (the easy one). Need some help in improving my game. Could you please make a video on a beginner practice routine and essentials? Really appreciate it. Love from Sargodha, Pakistan 🇵🇰
Yeah it’s incredibly difficult to get alot of reaction on the cue ball on your typical club tables ..would you say depending on the cue could affect it also or not bro ? For example a more expensive cue be better than a cheaper one ?
Excellent work but u just missed two more shots from luca..One was a safety shot in final and the other was brown to a split on pack that was quite an agressive shot.
Do a video on the origins of snooker. What exactly is Billiards, and why is a snooker table an "English Billiards Table". As far as I am aware Snooker is a meld of black pool and red pyramid. More over there are lots of other versions of cue sports - and the whole thing started as table top croquet before someone realised that to get a shot down a cushion it was easier to use the wrong end of the croquet mallet. Anyway - I read the full wikipedia page a while back and I think it would be a good video. Regards.
I think it's so admirable of Olivier Martel that he grabs the woman then repositions his hand almost immediately to not touch her breasts. Shows not only dedication to the game, but also respect.
Honestly this whole list could’ve just been Luca shots. There’s a handful of more insane shots he made that didn’t make it but it shows how dominant he was. Definitely one of if not the most impressive tournaments from an individual that we’ve ever seen
The amount of thin cuts executed by Luca Brecel was extraordinary!!!
The amount of insane shots he made throughout the tournament, and the players he had to beat, really made him the most worthy of this years world championship. He almost made it all look easy.
That thin cut on the blue in the yellow pocket was unreal… he actually overcut it!
Right? Amazing!
Many many congratulations to Luca on winning the Grand final 👏
The effort he made to reach final was simply outstanding 💖
I live for this ok
A competition isn't complete until break from life does his shot recreation video! ⚪️⚫️🟣🔵🟤🟢🟡🔴🎱
Totally
I really love these recreation videos because it demonstrates how good the top professionals are. You sometimes describe a shot as an ‘exhibition’ shot. What defines an ‘exhibition’ shot versus a competition shot? Is it just the amount of risk involved?
It’s usually described as an exhibition shot if a player has already won a frame
I like BfL's camera angle because it transports the actual size of the table in oppose to the TV cameras
Greetings from Cologne, Germany!
I was watching Luca Brecel shots and I was thinking that Break From Life guy gonna have to pack up.
Ain't gonna be playing them shots!
Very good World Championship this year :)
Your improvement is noticeable. I remember when you'd be here all day trying to recreate these shots. Well done mate
Recreation videos are even more fun having followed the tournament a little. Great shots! From Quebec City, Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦
Brecel and Si - best and most entertaining players of this world championsship!
Good luck playing that positional shot from black to yellow Brecel played.
My shot of the tournament.

BEEN WAITING THIS THANK YOU
So Much hard work N practice . Thank You 😊 Farrukh Khan (Sweden)
That deciding frame against Walden is going to end up being the biggest frame of Luca's life.
Amazing how much life can change in one moment.
The fact that these guys execute these shots on the spot is just amazing.
Greetings from Bulgaria, keep going, great videos.
Bravo Brecel! Toutes nos felicitations! 😊👍👍👍
Your videos are really entertaining. Love from Pakistan. ❤
Thanks, brilliant!
Amazing touch Quint,on that screw shot....you would get them in a lot time in their match table...no doubt about that boss 🎱✔
Luca played out of his mind, super proud of si as well
Si Jiahui is the find of the tournament!
Definitely got through some close matches as well
@@Breakfromlife petition to get Ronnie O'Sullivan to do the tough table challenge!
Hi from Stoke on trent in the midlands, united kingdom =) love the videos"!
Nearly every shot in that final was flawless. That says a lot!
Your camera angle shows how huge those tables are. Impressing recreations!
One of the most consistent channels on UA-cam, much appreciation from Boston, MA
Got the Ronnie snooker in 3 attempts. Awesome 😎

Great video as always love theses the most
Hello FROM Sheffield! :-) (try a burrito from the Street Food Chef! Best food ever!)
Cheers from Milwaukee, WI! Hoping to be your first pin from Wisconsin.
Awesome video.
So happy for brecel

"Just need to pot the ball first!" That made me laugh amongst all the awesome shot recreations, great video as always
we just need to see you get to the world championship and win now mate
That’s a little way off

I don't subscribe to much, but this is quality content 😊

That Hossein one was a clear 10/10 dude 👌
Shame that mark Allen snooker escape off the side cushion wasn’t on this list 😢

Amazing amazing
That Si Jiahui plant in just two attempts is a phenomenal achievement! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
good selection of shots, amazed how trickshotty snooker is becoming.
I think that sometimes you're a little bit harsh on yourself regarding the rating of the accuracy. Some of these look absolutely perfect. Well done! 👍
250k subs take of hat? also im watching from malawi
I'm suspecting your appearance on cuetips is going to happen by the end of summer 🌞🥳
Extra gold star to the Ref on the Selby snooker escape for not blocking the view of the camera.
First view! Was waiting with baited breath for this one. Thank you insomnia, and BFL, from wide awake Canada!
Hope you’re on the west coast
@@Breakfromlife Ha ha, no, enjoying the nightlife on the prairies, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (CST in sorta the middle of Canada)
That is wild you got that first shot in 6, even with the lighter balls. Fair play
Ronnies shot is pure class
I was hoping to see you do the Mark Allen escape against Selby. For me it was shot of the championship.
What tip do you current use?
Luca did well. The fact it took you 10 attempts shows that shot was the best in the tournament
Sagnik from Durgapur, West Bengal, India
Fantastic video, but where is Si Jiahui 's plant when he was 14-9 up?
Yeah it’s incredibly difficult to get alot of reaction on the cue ball on your typical club tables ..would you say depending on the cue could affect it also or not bro ? For example a more expensive cue be better than a cheaper one ?
I must say I really look forward for these "best shot of..."-videos.
At 9:03 attempt 2 you actually hit the red you can just about see it move
Yes but it was pink first
How much time it required you to recreate all these shots?
Was only about a day and a half, takes more to edit it
A great video as always but appreciate the extra step taken to get a lens without distortion! Starting to look like BBC shot this now
Excellent work but u just missed two more shots from luca..One was a safety shot in final and the other was brown to a split on pack that was quite an agressive shot.
I was rooting for Mark Allen..😢
Luca was extraordinarily better than Ronnie I think. From Oli in cannock, Staffordshire
9:40 in your attempt you didn't line up the black and the red to the pocket
Shot F should of got a 10 out of 10 for recreation

Hi can you do a table review on your table pls
Bit sad you didn't recreate Hossein's plant which I think was a much bigger shot than his other one.
For shot k, you hit the red on your 1st attempt ?
I think it's so admirable of Olivier Martel that he grabs the woman then repositions his hand almost immediately to not touch her breasts. Shows not only dedication to the game, but also respect.
Luca is so brass and shabby on the table. He never has a solid style at all or a solid character.
Did the referee on Selby's escape conciously avoid blocking the camera whilst hanging over the balls? :o
