Im anxious to get through the rest of your frolic videos. We just got a westwind which looks almost identical. Did you ever locate the 12v battery location or dc converter?

Hello! It didn’t have a battery or converter when I got it. I ended up putting one in the trunk area. I made a place for it to sit without sliding around. Have fun!

@@vintagecamperrehab5888 Good to know. Did all 12v wiring end in one place originally or did you re route it all

@@BlakesGarage1 if I remember correctly the wiring for the DC lighting did run to that back trunk location. I believe I had to run a wire for the gas refrigerator control panel.

@@vintagecamperrehab5888 Excellent. Thanks so much for the information. By trunk do you mean under the dinette? I have fresh water tank on one side and water heater on the other.

I'm curious why you tore this apart from the inside out rather than removing the skins and replacing the damage that way as is customary and safer?

The inside is easier especially if the inside needs to be replaced. Also the metal is harder to work around.

Today my husben and I bought a 1977 coachman cadet. We are going to remodel the inside ANY IDEAS?

Hey Melissa. Congrats on the ‘77 Cadet! When we did the ‘76 Dodge RV we were really tempted to paint the interior but we stuck with the wood grain look. We decided to paint the ‘73 Holiday Rambler however and I think it turned out real well! Just depends on if you want to keep that ‘70s look. Good luck!
