You guys missed the part where dillanhunt play a role as John dorie jr in FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.
I thought it was stupid as hell.
A total waste of 2 and 1/2 hours. It was HORRIBLE.
Dave Bautista actually had range when it comes to acting while The Rock act as himself on most of his films.
I agree DJ is a horrible actor compared to Batista

Dwayne Johnson's alter ego/persona as The Rock is quite charismatic, so all he does is BE The Rock. Where as with Dave Batista, he does have his dramatic, comedic, or action tough guy moments.
Dave Bautista doesn't always try to act the toughest in all of his movies, which make him a better actor than DJ, but I like both of them.

I liked army of dead. I thought it took an inventive approach to a zombie film. I liked the heist plot involved
You haven't watched a lot of movies than. Or you are more accustomed to those series like arrow or flash which is devoid of logic.
It's the same with this movie, so many flaws in this movie that there was no part where the viewer feels excited or any kind of emotion.
@@yoshimitsu8643 I've watched a lot of movies and I like it too. This movie is a fun summer blockbuster and that is what I was expecting and I got that. Watching a lot of different movies in my life make me enjoy all kinda movies, the smart ones and the fun dumb ones and I think that's great, good for me!
@@Musicapop2 maybe it's just me, but so many things happening in this movie is senseless.
Imma point out some.
"Geeta" get into the land of the dead seeking money but her only role is to be taken captive by the Alpha zombie.
And Dave Batista's daughter who finds that Geeta had left her two children behind (which also seems wildly stupid, because who leaves their children behind just like that) and so Dave's daughter makes up her mind to go with the squad looking for "Geeta" and the 2nd character chooses to leaves the children on their own. If she was so concerned with the kids. Why not stay with them and let her father go find "Geeta" idk, that's also stupid.
And then the main objective of the movie is the heist itself which was so underwhelming. The pilots only job is to be near the chopper and be "weirdly fun"
There's Dave's girlfriend who is smiling while looking at her guns and gear before going to the heist.
And then there's Dave who was breathing heavily 90% of the time in the scenes.
And when they load the money to their bags and get ready to leave, which they have only 20mins to do so, Dave finds her daughter disappear all of a sudden, and this girl suddenly knows the exact location of "Geeta" and just walks her way to the building pretty easily.
And this is just a few things that were devoid of logic. Just a few
I'm not mocking your taste in movies, but I was actually excited for this movie since it was directed by Zack and his last movie Justice league was brilliant.
But this was just a bummer

Ella Purnell reminds me of Summer Glau from Firefly and Serenity.
I really enjoyed this movie, the Zombies reminded me of " I Am Legend" and the fusion of a heist movie and horror film was a bit like "From Dusk till Dawn",overall good effort.

@@PeteZajot Story doesnt mean just about the ending. I actually like sad endings. It had bad character development, bad script and 2hr 30 min long where in the end i didnt care much for characters. I didnt went in to see great story and i was still very disappointed.

In every zombie movie they always have to create a stupid character who's dumb enough for willing to ruin the whole plan just to save someone else's life. It's not even original anymore, it's becoming annoying
I don't hate the idea of she trying to save her friends. But what I hate is, none if hem survived, even cost her father's death. Like seriously, what's the point of having good/nice character who wants to save friends, only ended up a complete failure and also caused some other deaths. I seriously wonder what was in the writer's head when writing this character. Is the moral story of this movie "Don't save your friends"?

Vanderohe, Dieter, Chambers, Guzman. We’re the best characters in the movie, Dieter and Guzman deaths were incredibly sad. Can’t wait to see Alpha Vanderohe in the sequel

The Rock seems to be playing the same type of character in most of his movie, he chases the pay in most jobs , he need more stuff to work on his versatility
Dave is more honed to working on his craft in acting, it’s mainly why he transition into acting in the first place , to improve himself overtime , from GOTG to Blade runner 2047 and now AOTD

Huma Qureshi is a versatile actor. Her scenes in the movie was did not really showcase her talents.
Yes, just like many other Indian actors who do these types of role in Hollywood movies which doesn't require great acting skills and can be done by anyone. This is why I respect those actors from India who rejected these small roles in Hollywood and focus on what they have.
