I enjoy watching you guys talk about teams in the offseason because you actually consider the minor leagues as part of the club. Listening to others, you’d think teams only have free agency to fill holes. 😂
It's feels like the Guardian mode is getting player under 6ft that can make contact but no pop. Our avr height is probably shortest in the league . I know it's not basketball but we look like a HS team compared to others.
Nice episode! The absolute last thing Cleveland needs is a veteran MIF, they need to get a look at all their young guys. They made a mistake holding onto Rosario for so long and can't afford to make it again. I'm expecting Arias to get a couple months to prove whether he's the everyday shortstop with it then being Rocchio's turn (Rocchio should start at AAA). Gimenez won a platinum glove at 2B last year and could without a doubt play SS if Arias flames out (Gimenez is a better defensive SS than Rocchio). Next guy up is Brito who is 2B only. Tena and Freeman are definitely the odd men out. I'm also buying low on Angel Martinez, I think he'll have a bounceback year but highly doubt he makes the majors this year. Agree that Straw needs to go immediately (his defense wasn't as good as it's been last year). Move Kwan to center, Laureano/Brennan platoon in one corner, and then Rodriguez get a shot to stick in the other corner. When he fails, Valera's turn. Gotta figure out one of your future COF spots before DeLauter hopefully locks down the other one next year. Last thought, I'd trade Clase for a haul right now.
central was winnable... front office and ownership tanked until they found out tito had enough and made a last ditch effort to make the angels waiver claims and it backfired. nothing will change with this franchise until the majority ownership does. that gimenez contract may have been premature.
Dude the first rule of Cleveland sports is to not hype up any one team..It is the Ultimate curse..Especially,don't talk Cleveland anything with that nasty Yankee hat on...Seriously,you have no clue and you have probably ruined 2024..Sincerely,A Rod....

As a lifelong Guardians fan I really appreciated this analysis and your guys' familiarity with the game. Subbed!

You guys are great. Express my sentiments completely
Just a reality check. 820,000$ is the cutoff for top 1% of earners in usa as of 2023, not even close to 125,000$. Roughly 15% earn 125k+
I love the Guardians but the front office is disrespectful
Glad you were completely wrong. 67-42 on Aug 3rd.
Brennan should 100 percent start in right.
No center
Deal Straw!

Austin Hedges got a lot flak while he was in Pittsburgh, but I always liked him.
Same. He’s always been really good behind the plate his whole career
