Thank you for bringing this to the forefront. Far too many Americans have no clue what our nation's military families deal with every single day. Having children distressed, depressed & suffering after caring for disabled military parents with PTSD is unthinkable for most Americans.
Seeing the lack of respect for our military among Republicans is infuriating & disturbing, especially since the majority of them have never been in the military or ever experienced this type of anguish. The life of a military family isn't easy & Americans need to be more aware of the continued challenges & they face.
Having those like Republican Senator, Tommy Tuberville holding up military promotions & operations because of HIS personal views on women's reproductive healthcare & involving those in the military was truly evil. His immature actions alone, seriously impacted & affected families awaiting transfers, creating financial hardships for so many & threatened our nation's security. No one person should have the ability to inflict the level of destructive chaos inflicted on these military families.
Active duty military & veterans, along with their families, deserve the most appreciation & support, by Congress & the American public, not ugliness, name calling, disrespect & added hardships. They risk their lives to protect this country putting themselves in harms way in many different forms. From toxic affects on the health of those serving, physical & mental health ramifications are enormous. Many Congressional Republicans did everything possible to block the passage of the burn pit bill while cases of cancers, ALS, respiratory diseases increase among military & veterans.
Drinking water on military bases has been contaminated with toxic chemicals, PFAS/PFOS & even jet fuel.
As the mother of a military officer with 15 + years experience, multiple deployments, and living next to burn pits, my son continues his dedication to this country. Those GQPS are a disturbing, disgraceful, disgusting embarrassment.
During my lifetime, I recall those returning from Vietnam being disrespected, dismissed & harassed but believed that was no longer the viewpoint of Americans. Unfortunately that's not the case. Our nation's military are not suckers or losers unlike those who used these words are.
Damn, He has to learn how to love life and live again..
Appreciate you guys covering these stories, but when are more media outlets going to start covering the main reason female vets get PTSD?

okay. So now we have to see how these criminals were traumatized by torturing, raping and killing civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan ??
