Lee, as the old saying goes "if you do a job you love you'll never do a days work in your life" - I think thats you. you are not a typical car trader, you are a car restorer, a partial renovator, a man who saves cars from the eternal scrap heap and your living appears to be a byproduct of the process. fantastic mate!
Waiting on some headlights for it, the ones on it keep misting up, then intend to stick it on Autotrader, there will be a man down south for a big ulez petrol mondeo am sure of it 👍😁
KA. Once everywhere but now a rarity. I deal in Ford Capris but when offered a 19000 mile, 1 owner KA, two years ago, I snapped it up. Unbelievably, still got it as my youngest son has laid claim. Perfect student car - they drive so well. There’s also the EnduroKA one make race series for standard KA 1300’s. Yours would be spot-on for that. Really well priced so imagine it’ll fly out.
That Ka is a perfect commute and leave in the car park at work car . Better still it's probably worth the same in a years time if kept up to . Nice to see the before and after.
It`s the sort of car that now would not be out of place in a classic car line-up at a preservation show, but you could still enjoy using every so-often!
Great video, enjoyed it. Nice to see an honest used car trader catering for the lower end of the market and for those on a limited budget. Cars like the KA, Clio and Ibiza will make nice little run arounds for somebody or first time buyers. Look forward to future updates, keep em coming!🙂👍
I own a Suzuki SX4 s-cross and love it, comfortable reliable and spacious. The standard SX4 looks solid too, never driven it. Just can't go wrong with Suzukis, owned 3 of them, done over 100k miles in them all and never had a problem. Wouldn't be surprised if you sell that super fast 👍
Sure with the 'sensible pricing 'you have Lee that wee Ka will be away sharpish.Really good variety of stock, first place to head if you needed a decent runaround
another good update on what you,ve all nicely priced aswell also have you thought of doing some kind of merch like key rings mugs or so on keep the video,s coming
Wow totally transformed that Ka . Drove on as a courtesy car once handled like a little go kart😁I am a bit of a fan of Peugeots( French cars in general)had several over the years but hated our 207. Always look forward to your videos as I find them a great watch . Prefer ones that are less than 1/2 hr as easier to find the time to watch 👍😊
Absolutely superb work on the KA Lee buddy...Was never a fan of the ones with the plastic bumpers because of the fading over time but you've done a mighty fine job bringing them back to life...Much preferred the higher end models with the colour coded bumpers but with the great paintwork done on yours it won't be on the car pitch long that's for sure...Well priced and 19k on the clock sells itself...Great update video Lee and looking forward to your auction video(s) soon...Keep up the great honest hard work you do Lee...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Good couple of videos on this KA. Did you sell this one and get what you wanted for it? I have one in black, 7k miles. Inherited it from my Dad who bought it new in 2007 and only drove it 4k miles before he died 10 years later. They drive very well. Surprisingly good handling. Mine's still in excellent uncorroded condition.
My son uses vaseline for bumpers and trim well done Lee she looks well couldny have it tho ,with my size it would look like the proverbial gorilla in a birdcage, thing with Fords is the older they get the more they become worth
Surely the supplier test fits each model of shifter ie LHD or RHD? They only need a jig of each option. Aside from that Phil great video, always clear and well explained. 👍🏻 AL.
Glad you saved the Ford ka id be tempted to have something in the windscreen saying extremely low miles, punter may come on the pitch and not give it a second glance , knowing its so low mileage they may go straight to it. 1 of the only cars ive bought and made money on. I mentioned it when you bought it Lee. 2001ish bought the Mrs a 4/5 years old Ford ka from Manheim Pontefract area with Fees £1800 or so had it a year or so sold it for £2275 happy days . Renault Cliios have been brilliant weve had 2 both 53plates a 1.4 Dynamic+ and a 182 . 1 of the next cars i buy for me or the Mrs is going to be the 13plate onwards generation of Clio.
I had a ka couple of cars ago nice little motor easy to drive but rust by the filler cap the whole motor was beng attacked by the tin worm in the end - I wonder if yours will be going up in value in a few years the way mk1 fiestas & sim have cant see why not ?
Blast from the past. Bought the same Ka on a 53 plate brand new for £5k for the missus. Really fun to drive like a go-kart. Lots of issues over the years mainly due to rubbish Ford parts. At 10 years old it was rotten with rust due to cheap Ford metal. You don't see many nowadays. This one must have been kept in a dry garage and taken out on good days.
My 2005 Ka with 92k on the clock has just failed its MoT. Offside rear sill near the rear suspension mount and a small hole around the garage called the "front subframe" near the suspension mount. Oh and front and rear bushes. No great surprises. But the rest of the car seems sound. for an old Ka. Its not even gone round the petrol cap yet. Everywhere says "scrap it" but not going to do that for £300 of welding. Just a great, cheap to run little runaround car.
Wanted a one owner 04 fiesta at ABs this week bud, they pushed it up to a grand tho, it's still there on buy it now at a grand, maybe get it next week for half a dozen, prices were higher than ever and actually couldn't buy anything, got a 17 plate astra on Tuesday at the better sale tho.
Prees was really strange, did a video for thursday sale just gone, most stuff under 5k doing all its money and more, most over cap. The big tackle they could not get bids on, 17 plate jaguar f pace, started it at 11k no bids, went down to 9k still no bids, in the end the withdrew it. Same with the RR Evoque's did not sell one, 66 plate asking 6.8k no bids🤷
@@carukchannel at the cheaper sale bud, prices were higher than ever, I always bag a couple, but not this week, on Tues tho 17 plate astra, 44k, 5800, thought that was cheap, bought it to order so don't know if it would have retailed OK, autotrader retail was 9900,it'd looked OK at 8995, tbh every time I go big I get stuck with them, back to reality blowing in rear arches on a 51 plate fiesta tomorrow (!)
Nope, had it 4 years never missed a beat. I do plan to do a video on it, not used it in the last week or so taken it off the road to service it again and fresh MOT
