- Im not gonna over sensationalize this and say it’ll transform you into a real live centaur but I do have reason to believe this exercise very well may help you unlock newfound power in your lifts. Similar to how planks are beneficial…I feel these may be equally beneficial to throw in every now and then ideally at the end of a leg day as a nice finisher to put the cherry on top

Im not gonna over sensationalize this and say it’ll transform you into a real live centaur but I do have reason to believe this exercise very well may help you unlock newfound power in your lifts. Basically just an inverted plank…I feel these may be equally beneficial as hitting planks couple times a week..Toss in the ole inverted plank every now and then…ideally at the end of a leg day as a nice finisher to put the cherry on top
That's disappointing Richard De La Stick, I was hoping this would make me a literal centaur. Maybe it will give me to horsepower to fight that wizard for his potion though.
the next item of merch should be a centaur serum. itll be a bottle filled with whatever the fuck is on the ground in the rats nest
Massive dickening centaur gains
Seen this some time ago in Athlean X bodyweight exercises.
Geee frick, thanks, Rick! I wish I knew this BEFORE I called my father and told him I’m now a SUCCULENT CENTAUR
The Sumerians hate him for revealing their secrets.
Eric of Gilgamesh 🔥
Amazing title
Ancient Sumerian tablet found complaining about Johnny Pencil necks in Assad
They were hidden on a tablet among those complains in Ea-Nasir's house. He was making bad copoer, but he was making enormous gains.
Hilarious 😂😂😂
Chinese Plank with a weight on your nuts for max gains fellas.
Cool to see you here
lmao
You here with your pencil neck training advice
Greeting fellow fan of the stick
Never thought I would see a comment from Daniel with the word "nuts" in it.
Ming Dynasty's prized steed found in the wild.
De La Stick is the first human to have two Chinese zodiacs: 🐴🐓
Hahahaha
That's funny because those are both things
crazy good joke ngl
不错
Incredible comment
Now I finally understand why that hole is there on the center of the plates.
I see some power pole potential with this one bugez
Gargantuan Horse thrusting his POWER POLE high to the sky leaves pencil necks shocked.
I agree. This is what we want demonstrated on camera
The channel should be nothing but power pole. Nothing can top the power pole.
Now you're cookin' with power poles!
Chinese arching in the squat rack
When i see some pencilneck squatting in the chinese arch rack 🤬
My favourite is the Spanish plank. You only need a pillow:
Lay down, put pillow under your head, close your eyes for 20 to 30 minutes. You can also try laying down on your side for a nice variation
Siestamaxxing
Bahahaha I Iegit thought it was gonna be an exercise
Unironically most important for growth.
Lmao spanish plank
Just tried this out bro, it left me CRYING
Gilgamesh was horsing these with a 100lb plate.
Hitting some STIFF leg dead lifts tomorrow, gonna get REAL STIFF with these first. Thanks Sticky Ricky
Gonna try these out thanks for bein’’ my friend
This was known to the Atlanteans long ago but Dr. Dick Delhagen has revived ancient wisdom
The Nords are disgusted by this revelation of their secret technique 💀
The cut is looking really good!
Always giving me something new to do in the gym that makes more JACKED AND STACKED than the day previous. Appreciate you Boogs!
Hey Eric, I love the videos and your advice over the years. I must admit I was happy when I saw the new old look, brought back memories from when I started lifting and saw the heaviest video I will ever see just as I needed a hero.
Great report, Eric!!!
Looks awesome! I have to try this.
"Are they gonna rip? Are they gonna frickin tear?" Rick listens to Doom music confirmed.
Now this is a golden tidbit if I’ve ever heard one
Trying this tonight, thanks for the enlightenment Rik!
We need more videos of you reacting to content! The Jeff Nippard videos are S Tier
I will never do this but this is prime shit thank you sir
I have truly never seen this one before, a real gem
Doing RDL'S after those would be crazy
Eric I just snapped my LCL in bjj definitely gonna add this to rehab back towards greatness.
Hope you have a good day Eric.
This is a win for home gym lifters I'll try this out

THANKS FOR THE TIDBIT, STICK ROSS
Ancient hindu yogis when they hear about arching the back:😏
California Strength!! Dave Spitz is the man!!!
I love geographical themed exercises
Hell yeah, I have my clients do these sometimes. I call them a hamstring bridge. 🎉
Incredible quads
Thank you buug
Thought this was an old re uploaded video you look like your younger days when you shave bro 🤣🔥
Just gave this a try and it is perfect. My glutes end up taking over on a lot of posterior chain movements, so my hammies don't get enough action.
Seems great for lower back pain
I’m recovering from a hamstring injury and I just tried this. Holy buckets, I’m speechless. Like Christmas morning for my hamstrings
What a fucking stud sharing the secrets of success to us mere mortals.
Hey, Eric. I'd be really interested on your take with Alexander Zass and some of the heavily isometric based movements he prescribed in his training regimen. He's a very interesting strongman and there are a few documentaries here on YT if you've never heard of him. It would make for a cool video. Thanks!
Very similar doing the exercise on the exercise ball/core ball/fitness ball but with the ball you drag the ball backwards and forwards
That display Pic....Eric you are a handsome man
I used to do some thing similar to this. Long leg bridges on gymnast rings, those are NO JOKE
I know this as the Aramanu bridge, i found out about it from a video of gold medal horsecock Andrei Armanau talking about how he used it to fix his back pain
Comment section never fails to disappoint. I bought your shirt by the way Bugez
youre such a beast man haha
ALRIGHT FELLAS ‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥
I have seen a month ago on yt ,few russian guy doing this at home on chairs, as a core strengthening exercise.
Oh deym, nice
I was trying out the KB Overhead throw damn near gave myself a fracture letting the kettlebell smash into my forearm, I've figured it out now though 🤣😅
Vlog Video Campionilor Eric
floor is lava ah exercise
jej
Accessory to the power pole is a lesser known hold which will hit the hammies and make your crusher go blammie!!!
Hey Eric, unrelated question to this video, but a specific excercise question and your thoughts on it transfering to the deadlift.
When i hit a 3x bodyweight beltless squat @ 80kg BW for a 240kg deadlift, i used to do a shitload of a plate loaded kickback machine fully loaded with 3/4bands (Technogym brand) While offcourse doing a bunch of Cailer woolem style rows and plate loaded leg press with bands.
After all these years my max has not gone past 260kg beltless @ 100kg bodyweight, and all thats really changed is me not doing that kickback machine anymore, my question being do you personaly see any value in that machine and it could be a key excercise or am i just being a pencil neck that thinks that machine would magicaly be the cure to get to that 300kg deadlift.
Youve been sharing some more out of the standard excercice ideas lately and it made me remember that kickback machine i used years ago.
Apologies for the long winded question, your videos have been my go to hype videos for years now, was awesome to see you on Elitefts aswell.
Take care.
Is it possible to do the chinese arches for reps? Basically, moving up and down slightly without any knee flexion?
Posterior has left the building boys…. Should we let him in on the Zercher????
Holy........ BUCKETS!!!!!!!!!!
2:25 Rick so thick he has his own gravitational field which pulled the eyes of the dude who couldn’t resist THE MINDSET
Ricky sticky building mental strength but not much mass hell yeah
Wow... that’s seriously so aggressive!!! I’d advise anyone to be suuuuper careful incorporating this! Eric is an absolute beast it makes no sense that he can do 135lbs!
No sense! It’s so aggressive right on the hamstring tendons right where they attach at the back of the knee as well as the acl!
If you haven’t done hamstring curls for several years first then I wouldn’t even try these yet.
saw this on buff dudes video about simone biles
We did these in college--which was probably before you were finding these on youtube lmao. I wanna say we loaded it with bands instead of weight? I've never thought about doing them in a commercial gym over a ghd/back raise, or just an isolation movement tho.
There's a Pilates move like this. I know, I know - PILAAAATTTIEEES! But it's a good one.
Eric Bugenhagen has the funniest comment section i swear😂😂
This movement is best done with LA Guns "Rip & Tear" playing in the background
What if you drop your hips and get a big stretch at the same time
I can barely hold my head off the ground when laying down for 10 sec as one of the big 3 core exercises requires let alone do this hahahaha
if you aint wrestling anymore, what are you doing to not be uploading alot and streaming the workouts?
Cal Strength!!! Their training videos in the mid 2010s were lit!!!
Should they be called Hip thrust carries?
💪🏼🔥
i remember seeing video of shaolin monk doing this but they rest on their head instead of their back
This is good but where are the chest and shoulder tidbits? Feel like all your vids recently have been about leg stuff
Would two benches work ?
What's wrong with a full bridge?
Taking up a squat rack for this is a requirement
some dude in the andes told me about this, said it was 20,000 year old secret
Good for butterfly. Swimmers.
This one will give you the precession of the equinox
Can these Chinese arches withstand a Mongol invasion?
Horsepower training!
Eric Bugenhagen AKA The Ancient Excercise Archeologist
Isometrics are really underated for strength gains.
under-eaten?
I think ring dips are another lost art. Maybe not as much as this, but still lost. Bring it back.
Isometric Barbell Backshots
should i go commando and put my johnson in the hole of the plate for maximum contact with the weight?
Coom-brain
Functional training.
Bugez should hop off the juice and the OG wisdom will come out
These will be best at the end of hamstrings. Probably
nordic gotta be ancient too
Pangeans hate this one trick!
military press is one of the most rare exercises hardly ever see any1 in the gym doing them
movement hehe does look brutal tho
