  • Im not gonna over sensationalize this and say it’ll transform you into a real live centaur but I do have reason to believe this exercise very well may help you unlock newfound power in your lifts. Similar to how planks are beneficial…I feel these may be equally beneficial to throw in every now and then ideally at the end of a leg day as a nice finisher to put the cherry on top

Im not gonna over sensationalize this and say it’ll transform you into a real live centaur but I do have reason to believe this exercise very well may help you unlock newfound power in your lifts. Basically just an inverted plank…I feel these may be equally beneficial as hitting planks couple times a week..Toss in the ole inverted plank every now and then…ideally at the end of a leg day as a nice finisher to put the cherry on top

That's disappointing Richard De La Stick, I was hoping this would make me a literal centaur. Maybe it will give me to horsepower to fight that wizard for his potion though.

My favourite is the Spanish plank. You only need a pillow:
Lay down, put pillow under your head, close your eyes for 20 to 30 minutes. You can also try laying down on your side for a nice variation

Hey Eric, unrelated question to this video, but a specific excercise question and your thoughts on it transfering to the deadlift.
When i hit a 3x bodyweight beltless squat @ 80kg BW for a 240kg deadlift, i used to do a shitload of a plate loaded kickback machine fully loaded with 3/4bands (Technogym brand) While offcourse doing a bunch of Cailer woolem style rows and plate loaded leg press with bands.
After all these years my max has not gone past 260kg beltless @ 100kg bodyweight, and all thats really changed is me not doing that kickback machine anymore, my question being do you personaly see any value in that machine and it could be a key excercise or am i just being a pencil neck that thinks that machine would magicaly be the cure to get to that 300kg deadlift.
Youve been sharing some more out of the standard excercice ideas lately and it made me remember that kickback machine i used years ago.
Apologies for the long winded question, your videos have been my go to hype videos for years now, was awesome to see you on Elitefts aswell.
    Take care.

Wow... that’s seriously so aggressive!!! I’d advise anyone to be suuuuper careful incorporating this! Eric is an absolute beast it makes no sense that he can do 135lbs!
No sense! It’s so aggressive right on the hamstring tendons right where they attach at the back of the knee as well as the acl!
If you haven’t done hamstring curls for several years first then I wouldn’t even try these yet.
