My god the Materia use sound is so nostalgic and hitting me hard, now whenever I use magic in Remake, all I can hear are CC materia use, how I wish this would have gotten ported since my PSP is long dead. Crisis Core and Dissidia should have been ported a long time ago along with all the PSP & PS2 to PS3 HD port era. I understand becasuse of Gackt's contract holders but Dissidia would have been a win win than the boring arcade port.

what made me really angry was genesis did so many bad things and hurt so many people, directly and indirectly, more than sephiroth at this point but here zack telling genesis that he is not a monster even though he did so many bad things and zack himself knows that but sephiroth murdered a whole village and he called him almost a freak I was like dude genesis did that too and it was his hometown, he even killed his parents and he also took so many 3c soldiers with him and made them into his clones and he didn't stop there and did more than that but you telling him ' you are not monster ' but calling sephiroth one
Genesis is one of the reasons why Sephiroth became a monster.
Genesis was still sane. He was just angry at the world. Sephiroth was far gone
Maybe Zack was tired of people think they’re monsters, going crazy and or dying on him? He couldn’t help Angeal or Sephiroth so he tried to help Genesis, the only one of the trio left alive. That he knew of.
(Also he tried his best to protect Cloud, but he couldn’t do much to cure Cloud of his Mako poisoning.)
After being betrayed by shrina I’m pretty sure he empathized a bit more and was just tired of killing

It was. Minerva was the living will of the planet, but she died in FFVII. Sephiroth's transformation into Safer Sephiroth required that he destroy and absorb her, effectively rendering it so that the lifestream itself must now serve in place of the world's will.

I remember I did one run of the game where I had to start a completely new game and my goal was to beat minerva before beating the game, it's very difficult to do only because it's hard to set up with limited resources, but I got it done, I can't remember the total playtime it took but it was sure fun beating Minerva in only 1 new game.

I prefer the original VA, but the new Zack definitely delivers alot of these lines better in the remake
