The foreshadowing in this intro is literally on the same level as Dark's, the more episode you watch, the more you understand this intro. Worth the watch.

@@nez6341 i heard a fact somewhere that the office was originally released in britain and it did terrible and everyone hated it but few months later they released it in america and it was a huge it and now its one of the most iconic shows ever. if netflix actually gave shows a change instead of cancelling them after few weeks if they dont reach a certain view count, they would have several amazing iconic shows and would actually be a good streaming service.

The last episode laid the foundations for something even greater & to deny us that after getting me hooked is a terrible thing. Now i tread more carefully with Netflix, its pointless to invest in a great show that gets cancelled after 1 season when there is so much scope to continue it.
I don't like very much on how they finished it, it felt like a definitive end with no continuity and so much potential have been wasted with pretty all the mystery revealed. If they pull a second season that can have a good story telling that won't make us miss the mystery element then I will praise them though

I started watching yesterday and couldn’t stop. I had to find out how the story would proceed. It’s amazing, thrilling, goosebumps, exciting, scaring, like a rollercoaster. What a dark story! A must see, if you are in for a bit of horror. 👏👏
I had a freaking scary lucid fever dream in the time i was watching that series. It's kinda boring but something mysterious about it makes you want to continue watching it to the end, and i loved the ending btw.
UA-cam decided that I needed to be reminded about Netflix cancelling my favourite show... I haven't opened Netflix in a few weeks and decided to try Crave/HBO instead.
For me it was kinda red herring, because this song was also in Sucker Punch and after first episode I thought it is something about mental. But second episode changed my mind, first noticing the pixelated sea in intro and then the ending, I was sure it is simulation. I never remembered the song from Matrix trailer, but 2 pills reference in lyrics probably helped forming my theory.
It will take 3 seasons. Same guys did "Dark" and it was unbelievable how they got everything to tie up in a great ending. I expect no less from this show.
After watching the finale of season 1, this intro will make a lot more sense. It's very "DARK"ish". DARK's intro song with those fractal images was magnificent. High hopes for 1899. this is going be be a wild ride in the next few seasons

Once you saw the finale, the intro all but gave away that it was taking place in corrupted computer simulation.
