This show is so underrated, watching it gave me Westworld vibes, I hope it stays good throughout the later seasons
I was literally just saying these exact words to my wife (also, Mr. Robot had a great first season but then fell off). Positive side is Silo is based on books.

I also read the book series and while there are differences this is one of the best adaptations of a book series. It captures that wondering of what is out there so perfectly

Magnificent intro just like the show! Love the subtle abstract details that if you know the show make for amazing meta refrences eg. the humans walking along the silo stairs zoomed out is a turning cog consisting of them. Beauty!
Music of this serial is the sound of emotion itself. I am just finishing reading the first part of the book, the series itself and the book are a masterpiece

i just came here to say that this song and opening cause me physical harm, every time I listen to it carefully my body shivers and I feel like it gets harder to breathe, and that's not a complaint, it's a testament to how good it is at portraying the feeling of being in the silo. amazing work!

I'm watching season 2 and realizing how much I'm in love with the intro. The series is incredible, but the intro I think has the best music of any series I've seen, and I only watch very famous series. It captures so well the uncertainty and pressure, the perfect balance and the risk of losing it.
It is such a good show, I didn't know what to expect. I need to read the books
I purposefully chose to not read the books and just suffer through the wait because the show is just so unbelievably incredible, can't wait for Season 2
@@rufukydukyI've read the trilogy and can assure you that the show has significantly deviated from the book in the first part itself, it's a great series with only elements of sci-fi thrown in, rest is about senseless violence and humanity.
@@visheshrao5629 I have many friends who've read the books and watched the series and none of them even once said that the show deviated "significantly", so I'll choose to believe that you are exaggerating.
Still an incredible show, deviating from the books doesn't take away anything, for me and many-many people who have actually read the books.

I read the book series before this! It was amazing! When I heard there was a show I literally found it that same day and binged 3 episodes! I love it so much! One of the only series where the TV show might be better than the books! The visuals are literally so good! I didn’t think the Silo would be that massive in my head!

Started reading the books, about half way through the trilogy and kept thinking back to this title sequence. With the knowledge of the premise it all makes sense once you know.
Wow. Even I have read the book years ago, but how the Silo looks in the show is totally different from my imagination. The structure is beautiful and really impressive!

Is it just me or are the opening credits giving us who haven’t read the books hints about what’s going on? The Silo seemingly appearing like a human body/ DNA. The humans roaming through the silo looks similar to the cells in our bodies. The apple falling from the tree and floating? The appearance of an other worldly environment like possibly not earth? Am I getting anything?

С книгой не сравниться конечно - большое количество отсутствия деталей. Плюс ко всему зачем то поменяли пол одного из ключевых персонажей - Уокера. Возможно кто то мог бы ущемиться из-за недостаточного количества женских персонажей на экране или еще по каким то причинам - мне, нормальному здоровому как ментально, так и физически человеку - непонятно. Экранизировали примерно 30 глав первой книги. Поглядим, что там у них получится дальше.
