- The Coin Game is a minigame about dropping coins, clearing levels, and winning prizes. Coins are collected by playing lots of Nintendo Land attractions. When you collect coins, you can head to the Tower in the plaza and play the Coin Game to win prizes or collect more coins.
To collect coins, you can collect stamps, earn trophies in the solo attractions, find coins on your discovery as you play those attractions, or find Mii visitors in your plaza through Miiverse that has accomplished stuff in Nintendo Land.
When you start the Coin Game, you will start off with easier levels as you clear stages and win prizes. The more prizes you collect, the more stages you will play. There are 200 prizes in total to collect. When you have collected your final prize, the Coin Game will then change to have you win coins each time you clear a stage. The most amount of coins you can carry is up to 500 coins, so keep clearing stages to keep getting more coins. There are 30 stages to play. If you include the stage in the tutorial, which can only be played in the tutorial, then there are 31 stages in total.
The objective for the Coin Game is to use your Nintendo Land coins to turn all the blue circles into orange circles. When all blue circles turn orange, then you've cleared the stage. Be careful not to drop coins on skulls, or they will turn all orange circles back to blue.
When you play the Coin Game and you've collected all of the prizes, then you will play all 30 stages in order. When the 30th stage is clear, you will start back at stage 1. Below are timestamps of stages and the amount of coins you win for each stage you clear. The coins that you win for each stage you clear are added to both the amount of coins you can drop and your total coin count collected in Nintendo Land. You can only hold up to 500 coins, but your total coin count collected can go up to 999,999 coins.

This is more of a fun fact, but if you get a prize of a green button that changes the theme into evening, or nighttime, then the background of the Coin Game is different depending on if the theme is daytime, evening, or nighttime.
I love Pachinko! ❤
When I first got more into this mode, I used to miss the blue dots on the screen and had so much limited coins. It’s unfortunate you found out that there was a way to get the maximum coins. I really wish I knew a lot about this method, too.
Back then I just dropped the coins constantly without thinking about anything
of course me now actually thinks and now have all 500 prizes
I uh... had 500 back then too... so I didn't think at all xd
