jayz and linkin park are goats for this collab
When this album came out it was THE album. Linkin Park was huge and Jay was still rapping and putting out hits.
R.I.P. Chester Bennington!❤❤
It kills me to hear Chester now, I miss him so much 🖤
There's another live version of this song from the 2006 Grammy Awards show you might want to check out. They changed the music up by adding the song "Yesterday" by the Beatles, with a special appearance by Paul McCartney.
Chester is a life saver. Literally
This whole album was fantastic, not one song I'd skip over. I was lucky enough to see this collaboration live and it was amazing.
They end that concert with Points of Authority/ 99 Problems/ One Step Closer and it’s a banger of a closer. Jay Z can’t help but express how he feels about it.
That was the moment I knew he became friends with Chester! And after his death when he did a tribute to him I knew he felt like Chester was his brother!
I don't know why he acts surprised about the collab when he reacted to Points of authority from the same concert, like 10 months ago.

Rip Chester bruh no auto tune and in my opinion is the goat of live singing vocally go to some artists live shows or bands live and they suck
Numb is a great song by Linkin Park
I would like to see you do the rest of these. The whole concert has behind-the-scenes making the album. But each song has been cut up for you to react to on UA-cam
I'm here for the Linkin Park every time!!!
I still have the whole collision course album cd in my closet. Still one of my favorite albums. Jay Z and linkin park made some amazing collab songs. RIP Chester, there will never be another like him
I laughed everytime you said "Nas"....because I agree🤣🤣
That Ether, that shit that make your soul burn slow...
on that same note, one track that NEVER gets enough love is "Play Me" - Korn featuring Nas. One of the best rap-metal tracks I've come across.
@@victoradam8685 nas is ass, stop it.
Your reviews are goated. Very analytical and is easy to see you interpret and think before you speak which many people don’t do. I also appreciate the diverse range of music you react to.
1:50 man I know that probably wasn’t meant to be funny but I wheezed so hard bc of that.
This is one of the all time rap/rock mashups for me
Listen to Chester singing live rollin in the deep.
What an unbelievable voice❤
This song was actually used in the Miami Vice movie staring Jaime Fox, and Colin Ferrell based on the TV series.
Rip to Chester. Such an amazing soul gone too soon
Man quit bringing up Nas. We get it. Jay great in his own right
nas got renegaded on epmd 2 lol
They did this in Brooklyn and there's a mini documentary about it on UA-cam about this collaboration.
Every time I mention this collab to somebody they look at me like I'm completely insane😂
This collaboration with put on by *MTV* ultimate mash-up instead of just doing a couple songs that made a whole record *(Collision Course)*
This whole album is amazing
Collision Course was a great documentry of making the collaboration mashing Jay Z songs with Linkin Parks songs together and then performing a concert of their work together.
they did an entire EP together called collision course where mix their popular songs together it's pretty a dope collab.... sidenote was never a huge Nas fan he's dope just not my style so I never listened to Ether but I doubt it goes harder than Superugly even Jay's mom said he went too far on that one
This was the fucking peek of all of it
This was epic, great reaction
I WILL say this collab album was 🔥 even though it only had like 7 songs on it; however each song was top notch
for those of you that didn't know. Linkin Park and Jay Z did a 6 track album that includes this song. This song is number 4 on the album called Collision Course.
A little more info for those who don’t know: the album is a mashup of a number of Jay-Z songs with Linkin Park songs. Incredible stuff.
All of Hybrid Theory or Meteora, Chester’s Rolling in the Deep Cover. RIP
The ether reference roasted a man years later.
This is a mash up album, not a collab. The lyrics are from Jay-z's song Encore, and the beat is from Linkin Parks song Numb.
Lovely Yr voice
I love this band, was big when I was in highschool, their first 3 albums especially are amazing
IF you want to check more from Linkin park by themselves, one of my favorite is Breaking the habit live at Milton Keynes. ua-cam.com/video/eGgmRKxL4J4/v-deo.html
In fact you got me watching the whole concert again now the performance was stellar.
Another one that sounds more "harsh" I would say is their live performance of Given up at Clarkston: ua-cam.com/video/aHPaee9Xz3g/v-deo.html
I'd need to recommend one where both Chester and Mike sing, but I that I'll have to leave that for another time.
Rip Chester
“Nas. Have you heard Ether?” 😂 TRUE
Love this colab.
To me the best one is
Faint/jigga what
No one ever reacts to that one for some reason.
That kid was have voice man
I’m pretty sure this was a pop-up type concert!
🙌
This was a collaboration of Jay-Z's hit Encore and Linkin Park's Numb.
You've got to react to more LP.
If you'd like some other, unofficial, mashups, I'd recomend checking out the work of producer DJ Cummerbund. He has a way of blending together artists that really shouldn't go together, such as Rammstein and Beyonce, Ozzy and Earth, Wind, and Fire, Snoop and Disturbed, or Green Day and Owl City.
You have 2 Diamond sellers on stage
Someone name a better mashup/collab in the past 10 years?
PLEASE DO MORE OFF THIS ALBUM LITERALLY SONG
It was Eminem context and words that made him blow up with the white suburbs.. because he talked like they did, and they could relate to what he was saying..
Nas. Agreed
Jay Z was always best behind the scenes
I snort laughed when you told Jay-Z to "do better"
#RIPChester it’s still hard to listen to LP.
the live version is ok, i prefer the cover version more
Why do you make the video seethrough?
NAS was no 2pac 😂
I like 2nd verse better but that's not important haha
I'm sorry, did you say Nas multiple times?
This is something that, as far as I know, has never been done before. Jay-Z and Linkin Park made an entire album together, and your first reaction was to bring up Nas multiple times?
I could be wrong, but people requesting this was because of the brilliance it took to create this entire mash-up album.
Edit: really disappointing that you cannot see how great this is because you love Nas so much
❤ the NAS jabs…agreed
Difference is Nas doesnt have a song with Chester Bennington... And he will never have that! There is this misconception that Jay-Z is the legend in this song... Hes not! Just like Nas wouldnt be. If Nas would have made Numb with Linkin Park he would be #2 as well. Numb was a big success because it brought people together.
Ok, so I'm not a Jay Z fan at all. But this album is fantastic. And honestly, I think this is one of the worst songs on the album and it's still great. BUT, bro, you saying Nas killed me. Lol. Because Nas is one of the best ever and he deserves so much more praise than he gets not. If you want another Linkin Park song to check out. Definitely check out One More Light. It's probably the saddest and most beautiful song they did. Especially since Chester unfortunately passed away not long after the album came out.
NAs ain't even a millionaire...Jay-z a billionaire. Don't get me wrong, I like Nas too...but c'mon
Seriously stop stopping it at ever possible second. People watch reaction to see your reactions explain it after
this isnt what i remember the song sounding like lol
