I looked at the earlier video,an extra £10 got me 3 elements from your site and the same manufacturer .The antenna arrived on the windiest day possible. It assembled perfectly. Half an hour and it was up on a temporary mast. A first CQ and a lovely chat on FM. Thursday night and I cut short my plans to head up to the hills but I managed to get out portable and made a few contacts. I love the videos, good to watch and a fair mix of good products and simple projects. I forked out at least a tenner on the last 4m Antenna which was a folde dipole that Anchor sold a huge batch of at Elvaston. A delta loop followed that a few years later. I am a few miles south of the Buxton repeater and there are a few high spots nearby. I will be sure to point the beam towards Essex . Take care and Thank you for your efforts 73 Sean G7sjd.
Hi Peter, I've been a four meters junkie for years, shortly after I was licensed in the late 80s can't leave the band alone, there's also a dedicated 4m websdr in bushey Hertfordshire that covers most of the Thames valley, re AM might drag my Pye Cambridge out Saturday night and give a shout on 70.260 AM of course, probably around 9pm thanks for promoting the band Peter look forward to seeing the next video. Hi Peter PA70-2-08A mean: PA "Precision Antenna" 70 MHz - Frequency 2 - Number of elements 08 - Approximate boom length (0.8m) A - 118cm Max boom piece or element length for DHL or airplane transport. Thank you for great video. Goran YU1CF
Hi Peter, yes I was there in the 60's I won't mention callsigns but Howard-Chris-Martin-myself-Glyn/Bong -Dick most of us had them in the boot of our cars and remoted to the driving position - I even built a solid-state SSB transceiver and we went in for portable contests - great video and took me back all those years ago!! Hi Dave, yes those names bring it all back. It was the "lads" band! Cheers Peter.
Ofcom is currently auctioning 422-424MHz. Guide price is £396,000 per MHz, per year. That gives you the financial value of 70cm to industry.
Thanks for the review. Here in USA I'm upping the power supply game for my 2m use. Tested the supply for up to 80 W today without any problems. N3LZQ
Glad I could help

Hi Paul, Sounds like a lot of fun. 73 Peter
Looks like a great antenna Peter. Maybe the 08 in antenna description relates to the 0.8m boom ?
Yes that makes sense. 73 Peter.
Thanks Peter, what separation on the mast is required between the Dual 4m and the Dual 2/70 yagi please?
Hello Peter. Can the Dual 2ele 4m be mounted vertical for fm work? 73 Andy G6OHM.
No. You would need to put a short cross arm on the mast. That would also get the mast section away from the elements. Peter.
