Hey fartass! Hope you enjoyed this video! Let me know if you remember this show being on back in 2007?? Love yourself today, drink water, and stare at your butt in the mirror!
I am in the toilet at this exact moment, so yes, I am a fartass
Huh?
god i thought i imagined this show in some sort of weird fever dream
i had never heard of it, but if you told me that it existed i would probably think you were lying, fam.
Who's here because of JonTrons video?
Me ✋
Ya I binged the whole show last night it was great but Taylor is the worst
love jontron
@@jonathancarson1 he's the funniest dude on youtube I swear.
@@colereed7411 those poor kids 🤦♂️
As a kid I loved this show. Today I realize that it was super problematic, however I still get some guilty pleasure if I rewatch an episode or two.
Haha I totally forgot about this show, what a horrible traumatic experience for everyone. Teaching middle schoolers everyday is very similar to the scenes of this show, can relate 🙋🏼♀️
hahahha i can only imagine. I SUPPORT THE DANG TEACHERS
How many of you clicked into this video and thought that Jon was Greg
Meee
I love how the scene of Greg saying “im a little bitch” is out of context with the cut
OMG YASSSS, I JUST STARTED BINGING THIS TOO. THESE POOR CHILDREN, IT SURE IS HILARIOUS THO......
its such an interesting concept though. but why the frick did they have BLEACH in UNLABELED bottles that resembles SODA aka a child's favorite beverage???!??!?!?!
I still don’t understand why people are completely objecting to kids killing animals for food by themselves. Knowing how to do that could be beneficial in a survival situation. And from what I understand it’s not uncommon for kids to learn this skill when growing up on a farm. Everyone should have to kill their food at least once in their life to have a better appreciation for it.
@KatrinaZ1 and I’m sure many a parent had that talk after their kid got home. It’s funny that I just had a conversation relating to this a couple days ago. I remember when I was in preschool, about 3 at the time( yes I remember his vividly). They brought in half a cow. Literally half a cow. If you were looking at it head on and cut it in half. Didn’t have the head or legs but they brought this thing in. I’m assuming it had something to do with showing us where food comes from but they let us put gloves on and touch it and feel the organs. I never thought much of it back then other than it was gross. Looking back I’m kind of appalled anyone thought it was a good idea to bring that in to show 3 year olds. As far as I’m concerned in regard to the show, those kids got a valuable lesson that day. Yes it should have been a more controlled environment but hey, the show never got a second season and that speaks for itself.
Yes and no
How about no. That's just you. I'm good not killing animals and eating dead animals :p
As a kid I wanted to be on Kid Nation, but looking back, I’m glad I never applied
You didn't edit the Old Gregg part out. What a winner!
😂 she made the cut
there's rumors that one of the counselors killed themself after the show ended because they keep getting bullied
It was probably gregg i mean i was right about chester from Linkin Park
How do u not have more subscribers?!! Ur so funny so glad I found your channel
I am doing a marathon of this show and I came across this video and.... JESUS CHRIST DK WHY?
All of the episodes are on here in order. I just binge watched which is now why I'm looking for the interiews and behind the scenes things. I girl that got spattered with grease wasn't edited out, but to my knowledge they didn't mention during the show that DK and another child drank bleach. The smartest kid in the show was the first little boy that raised his hand to leave after the first or second of the 3 day council gatherings.
Unrecognizable and impatient: My porn name
dear lord
Would you ever consider talking about some recent resurgence Kid Nation content? We have Sophia answering questions on her personal channek, JonTron talking about it and interviewing the youngest contestant Jimmy.
All of a sudden this show came back at random.
I know kinda creeps me out
it is strange how it popped back up again. Not sure what input I would have revisiting it though,
@@jonathancarson1 I meant more in terms of reacting from relatively official sources
I just spent the past few nights binging kid nation. Loved it!
I have to admit it is addicting. and an interesting concept for sure.
Omg I just heard about this on some channel! literally how on earth was this ever allowed😳... I cannot imagine being there it sounds like absolute hell on earth lol so crazy 🙈😂
ikr, but hey they had the chance to win $20k on top of the $5k they made. I was making like $10 for cutting the grass, so like.... i might have taken up the opportunity lol
I couldn't have dealt with the lack of running water.
Those boots are amazing!!! Those must be your dancin' boots... Because that's what they would be for me 😂
why thank you! they sure are my stuntin boots when i need to snatch someone's man but also do a little promenade with my square dance parter
@@jonathancarson1 you go on and snatch those men's!
OMG I remember this show... and I think about it from time to time like wtf. What a weird moment in time lol
right?? I really am bummed I had never seen it until now. but it is a really interesting social experiment. especially with just how much margin for error there was
I couldn’t handle that now as an adult never mind as a kid haha!
My first job had not toilets inside the building so we had to go outside to a portaloo, that memory will live with me for life lol
Those poor kids!
hey i mean a job is a job! at least you didnt drink the bleach!
Plus there was 1 for a few days that never get emptyed
So to my knowledge the contracts the parents signed were very dead locked meaning the show wasn't responsible for any harm what so ever that may happen to these kids.
those damn loopholes and ass hole executives...
@KatrinaZ1 no as many of the kids in the show seemed to have pretty smart parents. However just like the terms and conditions for let's say a video game. If you put a ton of legal jargon without having any legal experience. You just agree to it. On top of that, it sounds like many of the kids had parents who had tried out for Survivor. So my guess is the patents understood the contract but didn't agree to the living conditions they saw in the final episode of the show as they weren't even given beds.😂😂😂😱😱😱
Gosh I want to remake this show
Some of the kids, now adults, have been doing interviews recently. The kid that drank the bleach, DK, said it was a complete accident and it wasn’t actually a bottle full of bleach.
I've been seeing a few pop up on tiktok. so bizarre this show even existed!
Dude I watched this as a kid with my family we thought it was so wild and now looking back I’m just like 👀👀👀
its like HOW WAS IT ALLOWED?? the girl from tik tok did say she liked it and now she wants to be on survivor.
You had me at "I'm gonna get my tubes tied." Right there with you, honey. ❤️
😂😂😂
I think you misspelled "right" in the title
haaaa, this guyyy
Why don't you have a seat.
DK WAS THE ONE WHO DRUNK BLEACH?????????
Omg I used to watch this when it was on air! I was so obsessed and bought the whole season from iTunes. I was thinking about it a couple days ago and did a google search to see where these kids are now. I ended up finding a Reddit AMA from Michael Thot who was on the show. Very interesting read. Definitely finish the end of the show!
WHAT!!!??? i must find it. Thats so crazy you were just thinking about it. Its like making a weird way around the internet right now for some reason. A hot topic, if you will.
Christy Harrison I was also super obsessed and bought the season on my old iPod too!
Jarred looks like he is having a fun time in every seen.
BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO JARED 3 YEARS AGO?!?!?!
I feel like a total piece of shit for enjoying this show ever though these kids had to sleep on floors in freezing conditions and weren't given fresh fruit/vegetables until half way through the show.
ah fkn luh yah
This show was insane but still better than the Kardashians
I wanted nothing more than to be on this show when I was a kid
but in retrospect... issa lot of work lol
I watched it as a kid lmao
Jimmy the youngest on the show was on jontron earlier this year and told us about the abuse and there were LOADS & LOADS of lawsuits so bad you cant buy Kid Nation at all and you have to pirate it.
I remember watching this show when it was actually on tv. Brugh this is bring back memories. Yeah I agree the show was fucked up
Fucked up... but still a gem
drunk with root beer
all my life.
Oh boy, you have to watch the full season cause it was FIRE ;)
I don't get why people look at it so badly. It's just a tough experience that teaches them survival toughness and teamwork. Watch the whole show, you can tell half of them were either two-faced and/or really friendly. But at the end of the day, they really learnt how to live if things go to shit for them. I wish I could have been on a show like that, would have been cool.
I think it was the fact that children were working for a network of adult execs. The kids were paid, but again, these are children who don't know they are being exploited because at facevalue, being on a TV show would seem awesome. But it's what goes on behind the camera in the executive offices that makes it more problematic than you would think.
@@jonathancarson1 In Savannah's interview they all knew that they were being used just not completely . It is said that they didn't know that the mic where on at ALL times besides at night when they took them off. But most of the kids were coerced to say certain things and kinda be a "character".
A fair bit of them where acting a certain way to be on camera she said. Which noone can blame, but I feel bad for Sophia. They heavily coerced her to say Fuck You Guylan in that episode and then blurred it out to see worse than it was...
Cause they slept at night on thin cold mattresses, had to cook for themselves and kids drank some bleach and got burned from oil cause they don't know how to cook
@@sophasaf only one drunk bleach and apparently there was "no way" he couldn't have known according to Sofia. It was cleaning supplies they used to clean the saloons and stuff. The executives after he did it rushed him to a ER on the chopper and he came back 3 days later I think and the execs had a full on conversation scolding the kids about how dangerous that is cause if he drank anymore he would be dead and there was no coming back.
@@sophasaf and honestly, I would agrue with u about the thin mattress and how it builds toughness mentally and psychically and it is what alot of the people at the time had to go through and kids that are unfortunate but I wouldn't. But the cooking thing is not bad at all. It teaches the kids how to cook and to learn to take care of themselves
Old greggggg!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
😂 cinematic masterpiece
Jon Carson The good ol days of UA-cam 👌🏻😂
10:02
Me: Very poor choice of words
Y'all remember wanna do city or ja biztown??
omg tik tok brought me to the show too, crazy. i can’t even believe this shit got approved for a season
RIGHT?? and they were FULLY prepared to make a season 2
Jon Carson it’s insane to me, that it made it as far as it did. & how it just was forgotten about lol
Oh geez, seeing the religious bullying was just cringe... Who thought this was a good idea again? Because it wasn't.
Jonathan Tronathan
Omg
i bet she is talking about Greg stealing the black berry
I'd give you the gold star
🙈🙈🙈💕
Lots of adults there. Click bait. Bleach story is blown out of proportion. Those kids are more mature than 80 percent of adults i meet on a daily basis
And. And. Lets make the only 15 year old a bully.
usually bodes well.
BEES ARE COMING!!
AHHHH
You thought this show is bad there was another one called brat camp but that one was entertaining
👀
👃
I am a kid a would have been riiiiiiiccccccchhhhhhhhh
I loved that show. I would totally watch it if they brought it back😂
I feel like the lawsuits would be WILD if they brought it back lol but i really enjoyed it too
lmaoo bees 🐝
lololol can you imagine????
Jon Carson i would watch it! hope there’s some kids who are allergic! (I’m going to hell!)
this show honestly would have been better if they did it more like a survivor method where they had to vote someone out
Wow jesus is that you???
it is i
"Heeeey", J.C. this show was CRAzy af, keep going , it getz better , if remember ( fuzzy tho), theeze dayzz... 😜🙅💘😈👦👱👧🌟💩🙈🙉🙊👀👏🙇👢👣📺💰
Who else clicked on this video because you thought the kid in the thumbnail was the youtuber
The sad thing is CBS supposedly filmed a second season that never aired. Make Kid Nation Great Again.
Wow you copied JonTron lol jk
lol
