Great choice for Tina. 🙂 Back in 2021 (April) Plan A was to get a new ZR2 -- in Sand Dune Metallic color (!) -- but it was parked with 20K other Colorados at the GM Assembly Plant in Wentzville MO as they all lacked their computer chips so weren't "finished" yet. Had put a $1K hold pay't on it (with John Elway Chevrolet in Englewood CO). After almost 3 months of waiting, I contacted GM and they said "No ETA date is available, sorry" so I bailed on the ZR2 and got Plan B: 2021 Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon). BTW, there were NO (zero!) ZR2s in Sand Dune Metallic in the state of Colorado...a rare color even back then. Anyway, since then the ZR2 got some serious upgrades/improvements in 2023 -- which made the 2023 a clearly better choice than the earlier ZR2 models -- but I'm fine with my Gladiator. And will likely be keeping it a few more years at the very least (my 5-year Mopar Maximum Care Extended Warranty expires April 2029). P.S. Once reason I like my Gladiator over the ZR2 is the Jeep is "skinnier" (74" vs. 84") which is not only good for tight off-road trails/switchbacks, but also because it fits in a garage better width-wise...the ZR2 is a bit "obese" for me. But the Gladiator is 5" longer (218" vs. 213"). And in parking lots, being narrower makes getting hit by cars parked next to it less likely as I have a bit more space around me vs. a "fat" ZR2...but even with the Jeep I hope the rock-rails catch someone's car door before the body panels do. -- BR
@billredding2000 funny our stories are the same. I had a 23 zr2 on order. Took gm to long to get delivery scheduled. Found my gladiator and worked a great deal. Canceled the zr2 order and bought my gladiator i have now

@billredding2000 funny our stories are the same. I had a 23 zr2 on order. Took gm to long to get delivery scheduled. Found my gladiator and worked a great deal. Canceled the zr2 order and bought my gladiator i have now
@@Jason-Samko Yes, what a coincidence! 🙂

Congrats! I’m on the fence of trading my 2016 Colorado Z71 on a new 24 ZR2 in grey. My Z71 only has 80k miles but love that ZR2.
2 amazing trucks right there
Was going to go this route with my 2017 Z71 also with 80k miles but went with the Ranger Raptor instead.
@jeremygreen6292 the ranger raptor is one seriously awesome truck
Beautiful truck
Thanks
I just want to say, I'll hope to have that kind of excitement in my wife, 😅😊 omg I'm so excited and is not mine!!!!!!! But super happy for you!!
Happy wife happy life
Jason, Congratulations! Great truck. Side note: “Never mentioned it to Tina. Completely her decision.” RIGHT. You never mentioned it but you did one video on the Landcruiser and one video on the Bronco and 256 videos on the ZR2. 😃 Just kidding. Cool truck. Love the color!
😂😂😂 honestly she has never seen the zr2 in person until this one
Wow beautiful truck Jason congratulations 🎉
@@Jojo-ni2cg thank you
First 👍 that's my dream truck i plan to order but a 2025 in red
@@ryankirwan3854 the red is super sexy
Very nice ZR2 congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@davidchenette1091 thank you
Nice ride! Your wife picked a beautiful color.
@@traebishop3846 thank you
Love the story .........love the truck, it's would be my choice as well. More subscribers coming your way now pal..............
@@fredsausage8794 was a pretty neat day with how it all unfolded
❤ best off-road truck
Nice. That is a daily pickup, but to be a “Downer” I would love a naturally aspirated vehicle so that 4Runner would definitely be on my list but I have a ‘23 Tacoma so I am good. Nevertheless, big congratulations!
4 runner is a great truck!
Congrats that's awesome looking truck but I would have went with red or blue.
@@garytheguru the red is sweet. Never seen a blue one in person
Awesome color.
@@overheadsurf thanks
Nice 👍 Congrats 🎉
@@evancontos2267 thanks
sweet but vaden couldnt get it to their lot?
@RocksNRuts4 very hard to negotiate numbers when a dealer ship doesn't own the vehicle and has not been paying Floorplan loans on it and has to do dealer trades etc. If vaden had the color I would of 100% tried to buy it there
hey Jason what is MPG for your rubicon? city? combined?

Omg. I love the look of the zr2. But, I need the gladiator to be around.
Gladiator will be here for another year or 2. Might even throw some 37s on it😋
Towing capacity? Hauling capacity? Bed length ?
6k towing as it's the zr2 (7700) for less offraod versions. 1280 payload for this (1580 for less offroad versions) 5 foot bed
@ , thanks for the reply, the short bed is a deal breaker for me
Congrats you guys, can't fake good taste.
Thanks
Because you love the brand
@@youandme12345 i love all brands and no brands. But live the colorados for sure
Nice and congrats 👊👍.
Thanks
@Jason-Samko you will love it. I had the same truck, including the color.
It is the most beautiful truck and I would buy it today. But a 4 Cylinder Turbo Engine in this beauty? Why did they have to screw it up?????
Nice truck, congrats
Thanks
Nice truck
Oh boy!!!!!! Wow!!!
