It looks like you're developing a great system to provide your family with enough firewood for the year! Some great memories of using the log splitter and cutting up firewood during my childhood years and then going out to the shed with snow up to our hips to get the wood so we could load the rack close to the house. Keep up the great work around the homestead and thanks for taking us along with you.

The more I think about that, the more I think it's about 5 times haha!
      1. cutting
      2. splitting
      3. stacking
      4. hauling it to the house
      5. stacking again near the house if it needs to be closer before burning
      Thanks for watching!

In the uk here- definitely where i live in the south east coast, we don’t have fires anymore, I’d love to have one. I know my disabilities mean I can’t cut wood but I know people who can and they would happily do it- we are not even ment to have outdoor fires in the area I live as the houses are so close together and it’s not safe they say. Lol I say it’s as safe as you make it. And I’d make sure it was safe.
Saying that the cost now to get wood compared to 2 years ago it’s gone from £10 to £65 for the same amount. As more need for it the people can charge more. It’s sad really.
I’d love to live somewhere that was mine and where I could be a little bit off grid and able to do my own thing.
Hope you get to get all the jobs done before the snow.
I know we had our first frost this week which should of been 4weeks or so back- feels that the weathers giving us false hope- think it may be cold again this winter last was down to -6c and at it’s 3c/ 37f don’t know all the difference lol

That's interesting how the price of wood in the UK has increased. We haven't seen that here in the US (yet).
I'm not sure how things work in your country, but I'll be making a video within the next month about how to accumulate firewood for free.
      Thanks for watching!
