Sadly this is discontinued- and it’s been miracle foundation for my skin- wanted to know if you can recomend anything that u found similar! - dupe - or a recommendation-I loved the satin finish and could even out my tones without ever being cakey!! I have not tried either of these mentioned foundations. I want full cover on pretty dry "mature" skin, plus I am attempting to cover spider veins. EL is so dry feeling I want to use a scraper to get it off.

I was wondering about this foundation. I have so many right now, I got the Dior for Mother's Day and thankfully my skin works with it. I might try this later in the future. But what I am most excited about is the Kat Von D palette, it's my first palette and I loved your first tutorial but would love a few more!

That's a good question. I actually haven't taken any flash photos with it yet. I will let you know!
samantha cann it does not flash back in photos because there is NO spf in it, i heard another you tuber say in another vid. which was a way better review than this one. she even sprays her face a ton with water and than pats it dry to show that it is water proof and does not transfer. very impressive foundation
+THEREALBARBIE89 I try to be as thorough as I can in videos, but sometimes I do forget to review certain aspects. I'm sorry you didn't find my review helpful. I honestly would not have even thought to test if it was truly waterproof because I never swim with foundation on, nor am I ever in situations where I need a foundation to be waterproof. I am very oily, but that is different than simply having water on your skin.
This is what makes UA-cam so great, you can get a variety of reviews from different perspectives. It doesn't make one better or worse, it's a matter of opinion and if that reviewer answers your particular questions. Once again, I apologize I was not able to answer yours.

From Illinois where it's hot already, it's a rare day when I don't sweat off all my hard work.
I ordered this today and am excited to try it. I am not a makeup artist just a junkie with a drawer full of product that's just not quite right. I am hopeful. At 62 I am beginning to wonder if I really need a can of paint.😏

Thanks Shelley! I hope you like this foundation as much as I do. I love that it can be sheered down with a damp beauty blender too. My mother is 65 and I would definitely try it on her. Right now she uses full coverage for nights out- Estée Lauder Futurist- and NARS tinted moisturizer for daily use. It has a decent amount of coverage for a TM. Have you tried either of those? I'm originally from Michigan and I know how humid summers can be and the havoc they can reek on your skin. This one should hold up pretty well for you I think!

+Lisa Baxter Hi Lisa, yes, I do powder this foundation lightly to set it and then I use my MAC Blot Powder for touch ups during the day.

Have you tried the Armani Lasting Silk foundation? If so, what do you think of it for combo/oily skin?
I have, but it was years ago. I remember liking it, but the color I had was too light. Maybe I'll get a sample of it again the next time I'm at a counter.

That's interesting that you say it's lighter the lady told me at Mac it finishes darker then like studio sculpt and wanted me to go down a shade!? I ordered the color nc42 I'll see how it goes !

It's Milani Nude Innocence with a shimmery pink Buxom gloss that I can't seem to read the name of. The writing is too small!
Do you think it would be a good foundation for dry skin?
Yeah I do actually. It has a creamy texture and it didn't settle into any dry areas I have at all. :)

Does it settle into fine lines and wrinkles?! This is one of my biggest challenges with my old lady skin!
Luckily for me most of my fine lines are just around my eyes. It didn't seem to settle in them. I think you should try it! The consistency seems like it will work for mature skin, especially if you sheer it out with a beautyblender or comparable sponge.
