Sasori having beaten the Kazekage before getting his puppet body is probably the most underrated feat in the show.
Because you can interpret it as him poisoning his drink or something

@@haku1384 doesn’t contradict the theory that he could’ve gotten poisoned or got semi close to deceive him. We know his Sand can stop essentially all of his puppet’s functions, so it would’ve been smart for Sasori to spike his food or something and attack him when he’s weak.
Exactly, Sasori is one of the most underrated characters in the story. The guy is actually crazy powerful.

The most interesting thing about Naruto is: by the time they fight Zabuza in the very beginning, every major villian from that point on was easily A or S rank. This list is large but it makes tons of sense.
S tier means nothing in this show. Every notable villan is S tier.

Konan is one of the most underrated characters in Naruto and deserved a lot more screentime.
This is the only dude who talks about anime power levels without sounding annoying or arbitrary, that's why i'm subbed
What helps is that Swagkage has a very ‘real’, down to earth tone. He’s got this matter-of-fact, argumentative way of speaking, and he doesn’t really joke around or act unfair unless he’s with friends.

You forgot Might Duy (Guy’s father), he was able to open the 8th gate and fought all seven swordsman of the most and killed at least four. Guy has to open the seventh gate for kisame and if each of the swordsman had at least half kisames strength he would need to have opened the 8th gate. He also didn’t know Daytime tiger which means he would have needed the destructiveness of the 8th gate.

There's a reason why Kisame is called the “Tailless Tailed Beast”. He has a massive amount of chakra and know how to use it.
Pretty sure his sword samehada is the reason for his name and rank but without it he's more jonin level to me

Kisame is a ninja with huge among of chakra despite not being Uzumaki, he also kill the previous user of Samehada fair and square with a regular sword. Also, we know every 7 Swordman users is a high-Level ninja.

Might be a stretch but Kushina Uzamaki. She was the 9 tails jinchuriki, survived getting a tail beast pulled out of her right after giving birth, AND after that had the speed and strength to jump in front of the 9 tails hand to stop Kurama killing Naruto (Minato did help w/ this). Also when Karin destroys the giant wooden statue Orochimaru compares that power directly with Kushina.

@@moneybag2times53 it is a stretch but it’s shown how much stronger the 9 tails is compared to the other beasts. 4 tail form naruto put pressure on Orochimaru. Pushing 8 tails form like against pain could slam most opponents (w/o planetary devastation).

Yo, you forgot that by direct feets, Ramen guy, Teuchi, is directly responsible for feeding all kage from 3-7, has fed the entire village for decades, has fed the entire war arc after their victory, and has even gone toe to toe with Kaguya before.
Maybe the last one didn’t happen but he’s definitely the strongest Kage here

The gaara that fights deidara and the gaara that fights kimimaro are not visibly different power levels. There's a genuine argument for gaara having more impressive feats during the kimimaro fight.

Well some dudes make comments about Gaara not being in the list...so apparently obvious statements are not obvious enough.
All kages are equal, but some kages are more equal than others
I honestly disagree with that logic. Kurotsuchi and Chojuro only got that title because their villages got weak and there was nobody truly worthy. There are plenty of eras when they wouldn't have even been considered.

Mei was already a step lower from the likes of Gengetsu and Yagura, but Chojuro lowers the Mizukage standard even more.
As for Kurotsuchi...she is arguably the biggest direct Kage downgrade in the history of the 5 villages. The only comparable downgrade is from Hashirama to Tobirama, but that is because Hashirama was BY FAR the strongest Kage to ever live until Naruto, and basically anyone except Madara would have been a massive downgrade after him.
Konoha is obviously the focus of the story, but even when you look at the cloud village, pretty much any Raikage in history is comfortably stronger than the current Mizukage and Tsugikage.

A few things . All of the rinnegan controlled beast were controlled by Obito and has the benefit of shared vision. Also most of those jinchuriki couldn’t control their tailed beast . So the level their showings against Naruto and bee were far beyond what they normally would have
Aoba is the funniest character to power scale the way characters talk about him like we are supposed to know who he is as if he’s Kakashi or something and how he boxes up Akatsuki members will never get old 😂

honest to god tho even with Kishimotos writing issues that mf knew how to make look characters cool af. Even the weak ass konoha ninjas look sick af like Genma or Aoba lol
I def think Konan is Kage level and feel like she's consistently underrated, as the only real fight she got was vs Obito (vs Jiraya and in Koanha she got interrupted by Pain taking over). A lot of this is theoretical, but on paper (ha!) transforming into paper is an INSANELY versatile skill: She can use it to form weapons and geometry or to surround people, like Gaara's sand,; and turning into paper, beyond the obvious utility of flight, should allow her to split up to distribute damage (if only some paper is destroyed) or to reconnect from injuries; and IIRC we see her split up to allow attacks to pass between the paper: Those are respectively similar to Orochimaru splitting/reconnecting from snakes or Kamui's phasing, tho certainly not as good as either in those utilities (IE a wide reaching fire jutsu is gonna burn all/most of the separated paper)
She should also be able to mix in things like sealing tags or summoning scrolls/papers (not like animal contracts, but the scrolls that can summon weapons, objects, or like sealed fire, etc) into her paper, not just the bombs we see her use vs Obito. Even the bombs I think people underestimate: The 500 billion ocean of paper bombs is just one extreme example, but the possibilities of other traps or jutsu you could set up is basically limitless: Again, she can pretty much form paper into whatever, and mix bombs (or sealing tags, etc) into it however she wants: She could easily do Deidera style stuff, imagine her unleashing a swarm of origami butterflies (which we know she can make/deploy) that are made of paper bombs, for example.
In summation, I think her paper abilities basically means she's got somewhat worse versions of Gaara's sand, Orochimaru's snake reformation, Kamui's phasing, and Deidera's reshapable explosives all at once: Again, I realize some of this we don't see her do, but some she does, even if we don't see her make optimum use of it, and even the things i'm extrapolating are stuff she should be capable of given what she has directly done. Not gonna say she's like secretly Itachi/Madara/Obito/Pain tier or anything, but IMO she's absolutely on par with Orochimaru, Deidera, Kakazu, Sasori, IE the mid tier Akatasuki members, maybe among the strongest of those. I die a little inside every time people compare her to Hidan.

You also didn't mention the huge advantage flight gives as a defensive technique especially combined with her ability to shred into paper.
Most of the Kage and the Akatsuki would be completely unable to counter her if she decided to fly up in the air and Just spam paper bombs like Deidara did

Kakuzu was absolutely Kage-tier. You mention him as a “maybe” twice when to me atleast he easily qualifies due to his the sheer power and intensity of his ninjutsu. His multiple hearts not only granted him the proper nature affinity it made his chakra pool multiple times the size of normal people. As a result all the elemental ninjutsu we saw him use was supercharged and hyper lethal.
His lack of *[RAW DURABILITY]* holds him back though

The video is about arguments, and the levels of ‘concreteness’; that’s why he took this approach when discussing it.
It’s just funny to imagine there’s definitely someone out there who would try to argue this.
If Mei can become Mizukage, Kisame is definitely on the table. If you swapped them in their spots, Mei is beating almost no one kisame has fought except maybe Suigetsu, while Kisame probably rivals taka Sasuke, stands better against Madara for what it's worth and has far more respect from the community in terms of who he could potentially stand up to like the sanin and other kage. Kisame is usually placed 4th in akatsuki right under people like pain and itachi, while Mei is the weakest of the gokage under Gaara, who Kisame highly likely claps

You forgot the ninja ostrich, Condor who took on a jinchuriki (Naruto), had a better showing than a jinchuriki (Gara) when fighting against the same opponent (rock lee), and later on arguably the strongest character at the time (Naruto) delayed fighting in the war arc to find Condor and his squad to get them to help in the 4th ninja war, showing his presence was worth delaying their biggest weapon.
10:56 Keep in mind that this is EMS Sasuke, not MS Sasuke. So MS Itachi never got EMS yet he was AT LEAST as strong as EMS Sasuke. And Itachi was holding back because he didn’t want to kill Kabuto before deactivating Edo Tensei.

1.They both were not going for the kill
2. Kabuto had a massive condition/environment advantage
Also, Edo Itachi is basically EMS Itachi since Edo shinobis don't feel or get the Mangekyo strain.. lastly EMS Sasuke has the perfect Susano.. I don't think Edo Itachi has anything in his arsenal to deal with that

Danzo was definitely kage level, because the difference between him and Mei is that, she wasn’t fighting an evolved susann’o when she fought Sasuke, Danzo was. He almost killed Sasuke twice in their fight, not only did he have some immunity to genjutsu by a much powerful Sasuke, but he was also able defend himself against Karin, I haven’t seen another shinobi pull that off, but Itachi Uchiha himself. Itachi even stated that Sasuke was lucky to survive his fight against Danzo.

In akatsuki he is the most weak and useless one, if people have a strong taijutsu and ninjutu, they can mutilate him multiple times...

Mei is pretty underestimated, especially in her physical abilities, considering it's not her specialty.
I know it was a wood clone, but she still tanked a full on punch from a fully humanoid susannoo and continued to fight afterwards. Sasuke could fight the Raikage and tank a combined attack from Gaara, Temari, Kankuro and Darui with just a few bones manifested.
If she was married she would definitely be kage level

I would consider shikamaru, his intellect makes up for his lack of raw power, and if we count konans prep time feats then we should count it for him especially since he doesnt need as much prep time to come up with his tactics

I don't count konan"s prep feats. Prep is a sign of admission that you lack raw power. It's strategic but you don't need extra time for prep of you're strong asf

@@mrguy7582 adult Shikamaru is pretty firmly in that S-ranked Jounin category. This would put him in the same tier as his wife Temari and his former sensei Asuma. They can fodderize normal Jounin level Shinobi but would get folded by most Kage-level characters in 1-3 hits.
Shikamaru with a scientific ninja tool would absolutely be Kage tier. The strats he could come up with if he could use other people’s ninjutsu without consuming his own chakra supply would be pretty staggering.

When it comes to Zabuza, he did in fact try to kill Yagura and actually nearly succeeded. We also know that he's a least relative in strength or skill to Yagura as Zabuza not only survived their fight, but the whole reason he's working for Gato is so he can get money to *try fucking again*
We can also determine his relative strength because Sasuke isn't known for any of his other feats at the kage summit, but Chojoro does know him as one of the ninja who took down Zabuza. This is apparently impressive enough to make the future sixth Misukage nervous.
Zabuza suffers from first boss syndrome, as he's the first real threat in the show. He's latter made stronger through backstory, even though his original feats don't show it. Hell just look at when he's reanimated, multiple jonin get absolutely bodied by the guy.
In this same vein, Haku is also kage level, as Zabuza himself states that Haku is stronger than him.
I am fully in the camp that if Haku and Zabuza survived land of waves, that they would have gone back to the Mist and Mei...

I would argue hinata during and after moon incident held possible kage level power. She did become the byakugan princess which was said to be near hamura level strength she did inherit his power in the movie similar to how naruto and sasuke did but it was never said if she lost it after incident.
Kakuzu had kakashi pinned and about to die without intervention twice. First time shikamaru happened to kill one of his hearts vs hidan, causing kakuzu to lose his threads grip on kakashi.
Second time he had him pinned and launched the wind/fire jutsu and Naruto showed up.

With Rock Lee, notice that he still had his pupils drawn in. Meaning he is at least not using anything at the Third Gate or higher and we know he can at least jump to the sixth by that point, so he's likely capable of similar feats when using the Gates as he is when amped by Naruto. Plus he and a few other taijutsu users kicked a mountain sized chunk of the moon in half later.

But, as the Zabuza stan I am, I will say that I think it worth noting that the Kage that Zabuza tried to assassinate was a jinchūriki and being controlled by Obito as a puppet who might've interfered, so the fact that Zabuza not only managed to escape unscathed from his failed coup AND the fact that he was confident enough to try again I think is a solid indicator of him being at least low kage level.

In that same vein, the talk no jutsu and the end of the arc makes sense too. Zabuza obviously saw Haku as a son, but his nindo of not forming attachments and getting the mission done at all costs was conflicting with his feelings. We learn (again through backstory that fleshed Zabuza out) that he actually cared very deeply about a lot of things, especially his village and its people. It's why he tried to kill Yagura.
It's also why he never scratched his headband despite being a rouge nin.

Kinkaku and Ginkaku are absolute monsters. The Naruto databooks explain that with all Five Tools together they are stronger than the Shippuden Era Five Kage. And this is just in their base. Although Darui could combat and get the upper hand on them, that could just be a feat for Darui rather than being an anti feat for Kin and Gin. On top of the fact that they were nerfed by not having all five tools as well as the reanimation. On top of this above Base Sannin level power, they have V2 Nine Tails cloaks, the exact same powerup as Four Tails Kid Naruto who was consistently superior to Sannin level Shinobi like Jiraiya and Orochimaru. (keep in mind the sannin have a narrative of being the top of the Shinobi villages). Although they aren't technically Jinchuuriki, it's not like they have "fake" nine tails chakra. V2 state Kinkaku by himself was so unstoppable that the alliance had to rely on one of his tools and using min transfer to off-guard him. And he wasn't even using his tools.
I wonder if base minato would be able to beat kinkaku and ginkaku if they were alive in his era

I think shisui is almost definitely kage level. Danzo (A contender for the title of hokage) had to use very underhanded tactics to take on shisui. Even then, he escapes after having taken a not small dose of the aburame clan venom. his mangekyo is also the second to third strongest genjutsu in the verse. I will also use indirect scaling here. when itachi fought orochimaru, he used a genjutsu that wasn't the tsukuyomi. Given that itachi was about 16-17 when this occured (3-4 years after shisui's death, and the age of shisui when he died) it is likely that itachi is equal to or slighty stronger than shisui, making him kage level
Chiyo's brother was probably Kage level as well. Too bad we never saw him fight. I was kind of exited to see what kind of abilities he had. At least in the anime they implied he was a monster, the young ninjas from the sand village sent out as backup for Chiyo were exhausted and needed a break but the old man looked like he was fine, he didn't even need to sit down to rest.

In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just an ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series xD) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick then most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can they even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totsuka Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷♂️

I don't know how many people remember the running injoke that Aoba was secretly the mastermind of the series, since he was always pulling out wild shit like Crow Form, being the one who accidentally gave away the info to Sasuke that Itachi was in the village, and the feats mentioned here. Zetsu claimed to be Kaguya's will but who's to say he wasn't Aoba's will the whole time?
In fairness to Yahiko, both of the other two who Jiraiya trained in the Rain Village were S Class Shinobi. I could see him just being that strong, but not having many feats in his lifetime.
Though, Kabuto didn't revive him, so maybe not.

Kushina was able to completely subdue and restrain the FULL POWERED Kyuubi (not just the yang half) AFTER giving birth and having a tailed beast ripped out of her and simultaneously created a barrier strong enough to be impenetrable even by the combined effort of the third Hokage and the Anbu. She was also fast enough to out speed base Minato when trying to protect Naruto. It's possible she could even subdue the full-powered Juubi at full health with her Adamantine Sealing Chains since Kyuubi basically makes up at least 30-40% of Juubi's power and Kushina wasn't even at 5% (was basically dead) when she defeated Kyuubi.
Karin, who one-shotted the Top Transformed Buddha which was giving multiple Kage a hard time with her Adamantine Attacking Chains was only said to be displaying "a glimpse of Kushina's power" according to the data books.
Kushina is arguably the second strongest female character in Naruto right after Kaguya based on feats.

He tested Sasukes susanoo and was able to use wood style to change the direction of Sasukes susanoo arrow.He escaped his genjutsu saying it’s nothing compared to Itachi’s Tsukiomi and placed a binding cures on Sasuke immobilizing him .But once he got him angry over Itachi sasukes rage caused him to evolve his susanoo even further into an armoured suasnoo with its arrows. And the only reason he didn’t kill Sasuke soon enough was he was holding back to face Obito. Using the tapir summon and his own wind style he was able to pierce through Saukes susanoo. So the sasuke Danzo lost to was stronger than the one who fought the Raikage.

And the way Sasuke won was also a bit of a cheese. Like, it was smart of him to trick Danzo into thinking he had 1 more Izanagi, but it's not as a result of power difference. Danzo overlooked that possibility and got outsmarted, but I wouldn't really say that Sasuke winning due to that means that Danzo isn't really powerful and capable. Also, the way Sasuke figured out Danzo's Izanagi's on his arms was Karin helping observe and figure it out. So without Karin he may not have even figured that out and Danzo may have won (especially if he wasn't holding back to fight "Madara").
Danzo was facing them all on basically, and the narrative made the tone pretty clear that Danzo is very likely not making it out (who could defeat both Sasuke and Madara back to back?). So Danzo putting on such a great fight and only losing because he didn't actually count how many Izanagi's he used and was relying on looking to see if there was an eye open or not, made it clear that Danzo is very powerful. If he went all out he may have been able to kill Sasuke, but as we know Danzo prioritizes his self-preservation and wanted to defeat both Sasuke and Obito and get out alive. So even if he had an even lower chance at defeating Sasuke by holding back, it was also the only option that could lead to him defeating both.

I'm pretty sure Danzo is high kage lvl even though his feats seem unimpressive, hear me out here. The version of Sasuke Danzo fought is confirmed to be stronger than the one the raikage fought by both Karin and Obito and not only did Sasuke barely win (he needed to let himself be stabbed through the chest) but it's heavily implied Danzo would have won if he wasn't saving Shisui's eye for Obito. Not only that, there's several statements that indicate it, for instance when edo Itachi hears Sasuke fought Danzo and survived he is surprised, even though he personally fought hebi Sasuke with Orochimaru absorbed.

Hopefully Wwag makes a video explaining the 6 paths. I don’t understand why it’s called the 6 paths of pain, or 6 paths sage mode, sage of the 6 paths, if the 6 paths of pain are connected to the sage of the 6 paths, I’m confused. It’d probably be a short video though, so can anyone explain this to me?
Six Paths means the literal six paths of the cycle of Samsara in Buddhism which inspired the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan itself has six primary powers that are called the Six Paths. Therese six powers are divided amongst the Six Paths of Pain, so that's why they're called that. The Sage of the Six Paths is a title referencing the Sage having the Rinnegan. In a more general term 'Six Paths' itself can also be described as the Otsutsuki's power, more specifically that of Kaguya. The name itself references how the Rinnegan works, but Six Paths Sage Mode is simply given the name by association, not because there are six powers in Six Paths Sage Mode or anything.
