Hi, Jon. I really enjoy watching your videos. I get excited for the reveals of the different color layering. I'm curious as to why, if there is any particular reason, you sign your pieces after the clear coat instead of before.
Hi Mb, Thank you so much for watching and for the comment, question and the feedback i really appreciate it :) the only reason i sign most of them after the clear coat is that the paint is a bit to dry to sign, but after the clear coat goes on it wets it back up so i can sign it with the palette knife :)
@@JonBarberArt Thanks, Jon, for getting back to me. I hadn't thought of that. I look forward to more of your creations!
Wow, what a fab video, how much? Could personalized with idea great time spent

Hi JB, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, and the feedback I really appreciate it :)
Hi Jon! Another great one! Sweet and simple and stunning. Love to hear about upcoming vids. I use krylon and rustoleum. Hard to tell the difference but rustoleum has much wider selection of colors. Montana is very expensive where I live in America.
Hi Eric, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the feedback, I really appreciate it :) Nice , I really enjoyed making the new series :) I can't seem to find Krylon here in the UK but we do have Rustoleum but that can be expensive in the Uk, where as Montana is not to bad in price :)
Very talented! Gonna try to make one for my moms birthday this weekend

Hi Andrew, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, question, and the feedback I really appreciate it :) I don't really know to be honest sorry, The colour you use the most and get thought the fastest is black, especially when doing space painting, sorry i couldn't be more helpful
Amazing!
Did you use matte or gloss varnish spray paint?
Hi Sarah, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback and the question I really appreciate it :) It was the gloss one i used, hope this helps :)
I’m having trouble on getting the trees to form how do you crumble the paper to get that right tree shape
Hey awesome job, i’m starting to get into the art, what are you using to make the tree’s? A sponge, paper towel, etc?
Hi Nacho, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, question and the feedback, I really appreciate it :) I'm using a sponge to make the trees :) How are you finding painting with spray paint? are you enjoying it?
@@JonBarberArt its definitely a different kind of art style. Never realized spray paint was so “sticky”
What did you use for the trees?
Hi Tara, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question, I really appreciate it :) I used a sponge to make the trees hope this helps :)
@@JonBarberArt thanks

Hi Mochie, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question, I really appreciate it :) The spray paint i use is from the montana range and yes you can paint on any size , hope the helps :)
@@JonBarberArt I just love your works thanks for reply keep going we love you bro
No problem Mochie :) It's really nice to hear that you love my work and i appreciate the comments thank you again :) :)
Jon, you have to start either telling people or putting it in you description that you are not using over the counter type spray paint, it's not fair for someone to watch a spray video, decide they want to try it, they run down to their local paint retailer to get some paint then get totally discouraged because nothing works for them like it does in the videos and it's because they don't know that you are using expensive specialty artist specific spray paint with special spray nozzles. i've tried getting sketch and the others to do it but they won't, i guess they're afraid it will affect their manhood or something, people have a right to know it's not their fault if their painting doesn't come the same as they see in the videos.......
Hi Abruptly, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, I really appreciate it :) I have just done a series on my channel with 23 videos in it where i test 22 different spray paints using the stock caps (which are all tutorials) to show people how different spray paints work, from cheaper paint to expensive paint , thinner paint to thicker paint, different lacquer bases, matte, semi-gloss, gloss, water based and more, each of the paints i tested all worked well for spray paint art, it may just take a bit of time and practice getting use to the paint you choose to use, a first try at something new may not turn out the way you wanted or look the same, but like anything the more you practice the better you will get :)
