I have a cute binder that I use for the kids lesson plans. I write it out and check off as it is done. I track their assigned reading chapters. I track all their completed chapter books. I record attendance dates and field trips and experiments.
@@LifeintheMundane those purchases usually end up being the ones that come in so handy later on down the road. Plus, something to make you as the chaos coordinator of the home smile is worth it.
I actually use the disposable rolls of tape and have it teathered into our "junk drawer" with a string and tack....kiddos can't take it anywhere and it lasts so much longer! My kids actually put scotch tape on their birthday lists as well because they love it so much!
Great haul! I love the Better Binders and have been using them as our record keepers each year. They are a bit more expensive but totally worth it to me ❤
Always find something new from your videos to add to my Amazon Wishlist 😂 that list is getting very large ! On one hand I tell myself “I don’t need that “ then turn around and go “ooo pretty ! I want it … I’ll figure out what to use it for later “ haha What are some of your favourite websites for school resources , curriculum, and reading ideas ? I’m always on the hunt for new reads, deals, and hands-on or lapbook style teaching ideas as my son hates writing
We get zero normally but Kansas had a one time grant this year that we got called the KEEP funds. It could not be used for curriculum but only for supplies and technology. It was essentially left over money from Covid that the government had allocated for education so they gave $1,000 to each student who qualified regardless of whether they were private, public, or home schooled. The program is closed now as they have used all the funds but we used the money to get school tablets and school supplies.

Love that
I love shopping for homeschool supplies! I'd use your binder for a homemakers binder or health binder.
Love that
Homeschool supply logic: What am I going to use it for? I don’t know, but it’s cute! And functional! And everyone else got one so…. 😅
EXACTLY lol is it logical? NO, but is it the way I function? Absolutely lol

I think I would maybe use that binder for family favorite recipes or just recipes you wanna try out. ❤
Great idea

Good luck with the tape! So I can find the tape dispenser now! Which is an improvement. However it’s usually an empty roll on it 😂😂 Great video!

Thanks for sharing. You mentioned a grant and I was curious about that, could you share more?

Interesting. Thanks
Tape is so much better than glue, less mess.
so true
If you don't mind me asking but what funds do you get for homeschool curriculum and supplies?

That is awesome! I was going to ask the same thing! 😊
Thanks for sharing, what type of binding machine do use? Also does those cover work with the Proclick Binding machine?
I have a fellows binding machine. I can’t see why it wouldn’t work with another binding machine but I’m not a 100% sure
Katie, can you link those binder covers please? Usually I just laminate my top cover but I want to try this instead.
Yep, here you go amzn.to/3wi4kUe (aff link)
