This is my kids last year in the public school system. I know pulling them is 100% what’s best, but I am soooo anxious. I’ve been watching all of your videos for encouragement. Thank you for posting so much awesome content.
I pulled my older 2 about 6 years ago, my youngest has never gone to public school. DON'T BE ANXIOUS!!!! It is the BEST!!!! Flexible learning, child-interest led, guided by mom is fantastic way to go!!! You can do this!!! :) :) :)
PS: I've tried G&B, Gather Round, Waldock Way, For the Love of Homeschooling, Campfire Curriculum, Literature-led, Masterbooks, etc. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message! Gotta support fellow homeschool mommas!!!
It’s not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. I pulled my kids last year from a charter school and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I work full time and still can manage it just fine. You got this and you won’t regret it. 🌷
You asked us to let you know if there was a curriculum we wanted to see. I would love to see Campfire Curriculums (the survival one and the truck/cat mechanics), Tuttle Twins history, and any other history you recommend, and lastly a comparison of different Christmas unit studies! Thanks for asking!!
We have been using Campfire Curriculum this year. Absolutely love it! I will say the only negative is I do find multiple typos in every unit, but we do truly enjoy it.
All the high school curriculum reviews please! Specifically the online ASL you mentioned in a previous video. What have you been using for high school for this year?
I am looking to homeschool in the future and TGATB looks absolutely fantastic! Im just not a super religious person and just curious , is there a lot of scripture in the lessons ? ( also would LOVE to see a video on this topic haha )
@@Gardengatesdiaries They do use it in a few items. Mainly the English lessons from what I can recall. They barely do mention God or use scriptures though compared to others. I don't have the books my sons used in the past to check but I don't recall it being blatantly out there.
Hello Angela, I’ve been watching your videos since my oldest was 3. He is 11 now and we added two more kids. You inspired me to homeschool him back then. Now I have a Kindergartener (who is struggling to read) a 1st grader and a 5th grader. Even your personal experience and struggles with reading have given me some comfort knowing my baby will be reading when she is ready. ❤
Just feel like you're my friend...and we are chillin in my home as you share....I laugh with you ...nod my head at you! All of it...crazy maybe but just love ya girl! Always love your advice, especially now that our family has decided to homeschool in the fall. Going through your art of education course now. Slowly so that I soak it all up.
Thank you for showing these newer items! Where did you get those green book/paper holders or bins on your bookshelf? Maybe someone on here will know lol
Angie - I know you have a lot of kids and some with special needs... can you please share about homeschooling tips, resources, curriculum for teaching relational/emotional/social skills?? I have one with autism and I'm on the verge of putting him in public school next year. I am having such a hard time deciding what to do. My oldest is entering middle school and has a lot of work load ahead of him but also is ADD and Dyslexic and needs a lot of my support. What advice would you offer me???
Omg yes Please! My oldest had a developmental delay and he just started 8th grade. Were going to Homeschool this year once we relocate to Florida.. so I’d love see how she does it!
With Little Hearts and Hands, sometimes you read from the book and sometimes you watch a video (Fields and Flowers) or listen to audio (the other two), but you don’t read a story with every lesson (it’s one or the other).
I am loving all of these new homeschool videos. Do you have any thoughts on all about reading and all about spelling? What grade do you usually start spelling lessons? Thank you so much for all the greatness you pour into us homeschooling moms.
We ❤ The Good and the Beautiful too! I ordered a lot of these during their early bird sale. I LOVE the new board books, but I’m hoping to get them as a Christmas gift for my toddler.
We have every one of TGTB's game. They're all amazing. Some of the games we reach for most often. We love Snatch. Play all the time, and learn so much. And yes to the Harpy Eagle. lol.
I just want to reiterate how much this new channel has helped my preschooler and I so much. I am definitely going to order from the good and the beautiful. ❤
I am here for these homeschool videos !! This is the content I started following you for. I feel I really need to give the good and the beautiful a try this year!
My kids love the Snatch game. I didn’t know there was a Flowers game too. I placed our order for this coming fall during the sale too. We are currently doing the Fields and Flowers and I got Sparks and Stars for this fall. So fun and manageable.
The flowers game is so fun, it's just like Spoons! You put your hand on your head like a hat when you get all 4 of a color. My 3 y.o. has even played with us, she just kind of passes cards willy nilly and doesn't understand the rules, but can still be included.
I want to learn more about Sonlight and Masterbooks. It's our first year homeschooling next year and we are also fostering and building a house so I'm looking for a one stop shop curriculum! Thanks!
Ooooh we use so much Good and Beautiful also. we’ve done the poetry parties. It was SO much fun. I do think I’ll order the little science for my autistic first grader ❤️
I’m in the same boat. I think I’ve got most of it figured out except for the writing/grammar piece. I think I’m making it harder than it needs to be though lol
What is your favorite recommendation for science (4th and 6th graders here). I thought the unit study we did was way over theor heads and sooo boring haha i think we did oceans lol i used MB science during the early grades and loved it. What would you recommend. LA and Math is fantastic and the boys LOVE the chapter books TGATB have!
Thank you for this video, super helpful as I’m about to start my oldest in kindergarten. Also, I’ve followed you for several years, and you are gorgeous! Please stop changing little things about your face 😩 It is starting to look like the cookie cutter face that “everyone” (that does cosmetic procedures, etc.) ends up with.
Not behind. In the past she's waited until the end of July to post a few homeschool videos, but many people are planning for next year starting now through July. That way we can purchase a little more spread out for budget if necessary.
It's also a little less stressful to decide when not under a tight deadline of start date. It can also take a while for some shops to send. FedEx twice brought my GaTB and it took over two weeks for some bizarre reason. The other times it's been less than a week, but I don't want to have to push my start date just because shipping took long

You've got this Mama! ❤
If you can go to a homeschool conference, that helped me get started tremendously!
We also use the Good and the Beautiful and my kids really love it.

I would love to see yout thoughts on Oak Meadow curriculum specifically. Perhaps even a few online curriculums, or comparing online options.
Ok fine I’ll try the good and the beautiful. I keep debating on which curriculum to use. But i love all these!!

What cursive handwriting curriculums have you enjoyed? Maybe a video comparing some!!
We have every one of TGTB's game. They're all amazing. Some of the games we reach for most often.

YES! 🎉 I am here for this in a big way.
I am here for these homeschool videos !! This is the content I started following you for. I feel I really need to give the good and the beautiful a try this year!
I'd love to see a review of the Sharon Watson curriculum you mentioned on your other channel. Also, really any high school curriculum.
My kids love the Snatch game. I didn’t know there was a Flowers game too. I placed our order for this coming fall during the sale too. We are currently doing the Fields and Flowers and I got Sparks and Stars for this fall. So fun and manageable.
Lovely books, I do so enjoy the G&B Illustrations!
My kids love the flower game. I love it too they are so pretty. ❤
A review on Oak Meadow! :)
I’ve missed your homeschool content and am loving your new videos! Thank you for encouraging, sharing and inspiring us!
The flowers game is so fun, it's just like Spoons! You put your hand on your head like a hat when you get all 4 of a color. My 3 y.o. has even played with us, she just kind of passes cards willy nilly and doesn't understand the rules, but can still be included.
My pre-K girl has done fields and flowers, they have lesson videos in that one.
I want to learn more about Sonlight and Masterbooks. It's our first year homeschooling next year and we are also fostering and building a house so I'm looking for a one stop shop curriculum! Thanks!
I always love watching your homeschool hauls! Will you be doing a highschool haul by chance?
Ooooh we use so much Good and Beautiful also. we’ve done the poetry parties. It was SO much fun. I do think I’ll order the little science for my autistic first grader ❤️
Hi Angela! Could you show us what you use for math in K/1?
Any highschool guidance videos? Preparing for this one!
Do you have any plans to do videos about highschool? We're just getting started at the highschool level, it's overwhelming.
I’d love to hear from Angela on this but Grace and Grit channel puts out some high school content
I’m in the same boat. I think I’ve got most of it figured out except for the writing/grammar piece. I think I’m making it harder than it needs to be though lol
Will you be getting the Language arts and Math from TGTB?
Yaaaayyyy thanks for this! I am going to get the The BIG BOOK yay
What's your favorite TGATB unit?
My boys love the birds of prey game!
Love these curriculum videos!
Love the homeschool content!!
Where did you find that tall skinny bookshelf?
What age would you recommend for those board books? Mine are 8 and 10 (though both delayed, past the board book stage) and the books looked so pretty!
Mom has to enjoy the games and books too or else the kids won't have as much fun & retain the info! 😂
lol!! “Is she a ghost? Is she real?”
That's it. Take my money 💰
😊
How much religion is in the science books. ?❤❤❤❤
Following!!
I’m wondering this too!
Thank you for this video, super helpful as I’m about to start my oldest in kindergarten.

Just curious to when the homeschool year starts for most people, I’ve been seeing a lot of of these types of videos being posted . Am so behind?🫠
