This video made my mouth water! Mike has such a nice smile and I'm happy he is feeling better. Nelly is as beautiful as ever and I love her laughter ... it really brightens up everything. Sinigang and Bulalo are indeed two signature soups from the Philippines. Mike hit it on nail when he asked "why isn't this more known more around the world?!" Thank you, Mike and Nelly for your appreciation and love of the Philippines!!
Thanks for showing us around .Its been years we havent had time to come home showing us new restaurants, new roads and places to stay it is indeed helpful.
When you both do come back to Silang/Tagaytay and order bulalo, make sure you also order crispy tawilis on the side. They both pair well with steamed rice. Try it sometime. You won't regret it.
Everytime you feature bulalo in your vlog I'm always magnetized to watch your vlog I can't resist it well happy for both of you. I hope you will have a vlog of different preparation of bulalo throughout the philippines
The small soup bowl is meant to hold the soup and some veggies only. The meat, potatoes, cabbage, and corn goes to the plate, as they are eaten with the rice. The soup is like a chaser.
A nipa hut surrounded by mosquito netting -- what a wonderful idea for an eatery! Salakot Restaurant lets in the natural breezes, yet keeps out the flies and mosquitoes, while customers are enjoying their food. Danke sehr -- for introducing us to this place. We must visit Tagaytay soon and try the Salakot version of bulalo.
Amazing im so impressed to both you in spite of pandemic to you found such wonderful places in the Philippines honestly im a filipino but never been there , thank you for sharing with us from canada stay safe and healthy ❤️
Thanks. I enjoy your Tagaytay series because I haven't been home for several years now. I'll try to visit the places you've visited when this covid pandemic ends and international travel becomes affordable again.
Those out-of-the-way, hidden and newly opened businesses that you discover are really lucky to have you as guests. With your more than half-a-million subscribers and other UA-cam watchers that randomly click on your video, what a great way to get free advertising not only locally but internationally as well.
You know… friendly… that’s just Filipino Nature! I could just tell how you love the Philippines and could not wait to return here ! Other countries have beautiful and majestic places and buildings… but you can not beat the warm and loving nature of human beings … and that is the charm of the Filipinos! I saw the first time you came back… sone strangers welcomed you cheering….! I’ve traveled all over the world too… so only in the Philippines have the most smiling and laughing faces! It’s contagious!
Mike I laughed with you just like a ten years old boy 👦 you’re excitement 😅. Definitely, when things get better I can go home I will visit that place I love nature too. Come to Ireland one day. You would love it.
That's a nice place! My last 2019 visit there, we also ate at Balinsasayaw Restaurant in Tagaytay, but I heard there's another one in Cavite. Almost the same theme as this one you featured in this video. You may want try that one too, I enjoyed all your videos. Stay heard safe everyone 🙏❤
You do know everytime i watch you guys, specially eating bulalo, i can't help but try and grab one for myself, but Lucky Me bulalo flavor is the one I can only grab quickly😅😉😁😍❤️💜
I'm happy to watch again your vlog making I happen nice place restaurant enjoy tour in the beautiful place in the Philippine wow nice view god bless stay safe I'm waching from Riyadh saudi
I've taste a lot of bulalo in Tagaytay I love the soup but not more on beef but when I went in Mindanao and ate bulalo in Davao, OMG is so delicious and creamy and tasteful. And now I miss it so much...
You should try Balinsasayaw Restaurant around Silang too! We went there multiple times already and none of the foods disappoint. The atmosphere is similar; nipa huts with mosquito nets surrounded by plants. It's a very good place for groups so it is definitely a good place to bring your friends, family, and relatives once the pandemic is over. There is even a bigger nipa hut in the center which is probably big enough to hold a reception. Also, you probably passed by Philippine Christian University - Dasmariñas on the way to Tagaytay or on the way back to Manila. It's where I studied in during my grade school and high school years. :) Haven't seen the campus in a very long time and I heard that there were lots of new facilities and buildings after I graduated there. A little fun fact about it: Some scenes in Filipino TV dramas were shot in its campus.
I love watching your videos! It's just so optimistic and vibes! And both of you are such sweet, kind and loving couple! It's just about dinner now, and this really makes me starve 😅 stay safe and healthy always, God bless you both.
I recommend you guys bulalo it's good for winter time it gives your body warm and feel not so cold during the month of December and January specially your country
That looks very yummy, but if I may suggest, next time try to ask the part for "knee cup" in bulalo. The one with lots of cartilages. Those wiggly, chewy cartilages!
Owww ... I miss ... Bulalo so much !!! Thanks for sharing it with us ... Lovebirds !!!🐦🦜 Always take care back home !!! (Miss the British Beautiful couple Sir George and Miss Lucy special mention !!! Hehehe ...)
Bulalo is usually served with kalamansi as your dipping sauce. Dip the meat lightly on the freshly squeezed kalamansi and savor the difference. Goes well also with the veggies and the broth.
Salakot ( Sa-la-kot) is a general term for a used by virtually all ethnic groups of the Philippines. It is usually dome-shaped or cone-shaped, but various other styles also exist, including versions with dome-shaped, cone-shaped, or flat crowns with a flat or gently sloping brim.- Google.
