This year has been a rough on . My husband has heartfailure and we have 2 autistic adult children at home so we've been hunkered down forever. Your videos and fb make me feel apart of a community. Hopefully santa leaves an idea gift card under my tree. If not I'll save up and go in the new year. Your content brightens my day and helps keep those crafting juices flowing. Thanks Liz and happy holidays to you and yours!!
I hope 2022 brings you comfort .. Keep in your heart that people only post the joys on social media, you are NOT alone , Many people all over the world are struggling / it’s ok not to be ok ! Take a little time to do a small nice thing for yourself! Even if it’s a 20 minute bubble bath ! Dollar tree has bath bombs ..you cannot pour from an empty cup dearest
Quick money saving tip for the lampshade. Search online for piping cord for making edging on cushions. It’s the same thing as macramé cord but a less trendy word so it’s like half the price if not more if you buy a big roll.
Totally agree with other comments. So many recycled hacks. Third time in a video for some of these ideas. You could release one video a week, instead of two. Then you wouldn't have to recycle your ideas.
I love your diy videos. I use the wood plate holders as laptop organization for my students in my classroom. They work great for keeping laptops spaced and students can find theirs quickly.
Liz your lamp turned out so so good. I also wanted to tell you how beautiful that white macramae you made with the thick srands and gold brackets turned out. I want to make that for me. Thanks Jody.....
Liz you are so funny! Perfectionism is a wonderful trait you put 150 percent in everything y ou do! I love your shopping ideas and hacks! Thank you for sharing with all of us!
The jar "bottles" at IKEA are fabulous for storing homemade salad dressing or a weekly supply of lemon/ginger shots. I've also used them as vases, so super versatile.
I just love these ideas. I have an Ikea store in my state. I have never been there but I am definitely going to go there as soon as the weather clears up. I really need the peg board.
Love all these hacks. I hope you, your family and Moose have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for al the great videos of 2021. I haven't missed a one.
I enjoy and use many of your DIY tips. I must have missed the one where you made pom poms and added to a throw blanket. Can you direct me to that video so I can learn how you made the pom moms? Thanks.
Wow! I love your stay and the wood options IKEA is carrying a all look so high-end but the price tag is very affordable. Finding your video is a happy accident because I needed some inspiration to organize and freshen up our family’s home. Your ideas are simple, beautiful and all within reach. Im defiantly subscribing- hitting the bell ana anxiously awaiting your next upload! Thank you’ ana from Glendale California 🌞✌🏼❤️🏖🏡🪴👩🏻🌾
I can't fine the item you called a hanging plant box. It was white and you said it fit in the white shelving unit. Do you ha0en to remember another name or item number for it? Thank you so much. I always enjoy your videos.
I had to let you know that my 7 year old granddaughter is hooked on you. She spent the weekend with me and could not stop asking to watch “Liz”. We had a great time watching you together!😂
The flower holder inspired me to do my own not-even-hack. I hung up a basket using the suction cup hooks, and rolled bathroom towels and put in there. Then I put another basket below it. Now, finally, no more forgetting to wash towels, or forgetting to take a towel to the shower: Just pick one from the basket. And when you're done, just throw it in the towel basket below. And it even looks good.
#9, the large glass jar looks like it would make a good cigar humidor too. As long as the lid seals air tight, it looks like 4-5" cigars would fit in there nicely and w/a humidity pack, the inside of the jar would stay at the correct humidity level and no fussing w/a wooden cigar box. If IKEA has acrylic containers of a similar size, those too would work well as a cigar humidor.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm going to move into another apartment soon and some of the items you've shown moved into my favorite-list inside the ikea app. ♡
Love your Ikea videos most, and the hacks are great. Was that yelling child following you around the store??? Good Lord, whatever happened to parents?? Anyway, have a wonderful Holiday Season, stay safe & healthy and I'm looking forward to next year's videos!
You always have so many great hacks from Ikea and other stores like DT! What type of sealer do you use after painting a door mat? Merry Christmas to you and your family...and of course that includes the wonderful little Moose 🎄🎄🎄
I can’t wait to get those bamboo lids and glass containers after my kitchen reno. Next year I definitely want to see more ikea videos and how your style or diy some of them.
Thanks for doing this video. There's no going to an IKEA store anytime soon for me, so it's fun to see it by proxy. The product recommendations are quite handy too - I didn't know they did such cute artificial plants + those stackable shoe racks actually look ideal to create some easy new shelving inside a large wardrobe space of mine that's very tricky to organise.
@@nicolab2075 They do deliver and I got a couple of things that way, but it's not a good substitute for a visit since I enjoy being able to browse the shop in person and also you can't get some items or the food online.
Well,… you have made me download an IKEA app and I even bought 2 of those shoe shelves, just what I needed. I sure wish that there was an store closer than over 4 hours away from me. Thanks for this, I am now a subscriber. Happy New Year ahead, I hope the the best year ever.
Idk if it was you who thought me about the broomstick storage. You bought a broomstick from dollar tree and there foam balls. You put the foam balls on the end an painted it. You bought hangers to hang baskets or anything else you wanted to hang on it after you hung it on the wall
I have to say THANK YOU for such a nice... informative... all around good video, that was awesome! I think I sent myself 7 emails, lol with the subject line 'ikea' so I can place an order... go there.
Radhekrishna....liz very good ideas when u go to IKEA for shopping 🛍 please show kitchen utensils baskets and other little items 😊 I request you thanks
Hi. Could you zoom in closer to the items you show and show them a couple seconds longer? Everyone doesn’t have 20 year old vision. Takes a minute to focus. LOL. Thanks for sharing. Blessed be!
I came across one of your videos, then another, then just blocked out times to binge-watch them all 😊 I am starting fresh with a new household, pretty much from scratch and I thought "how fun would it be to have Liz shopping with me?" Your videos will be, so that's close enough! A few videos in, I saw the KC shirt - I'm from the east side of the metro and just moved to Arizona. Ikea was a bit of a drive for me there but I'm now about 5 miles from one. I have 60 items (so far) saved in my Ikea app - now to figure out how many trips I'll have to make with just a car 😀 I can tell you that Dollar Tree stores here are not quite the same, the best stocked one isn't the closest one. We have one ReStore, a good 40 minutes drive but in KC, I had 2 that were 15 minutes away. Thank you for what you do and I look forward to your new videos! Merry Christmas!
This is a nice haul and diy video but these aren't hacks (except for a couple of them). A hack implies using something in an unintended way. Most of these are just using it as is for its intended purpose or decorating it and then using it as intended. A couple of them did use creative methods of decoration but that doesn't mean it's a hack. Again. Great haul and decorating ideas, I just think the title of the video is slightly misleading.
Some of these are simply a product that you intend to use as is, like the peg boards at #2 or the plastic bags at #5. Bit much to call this 40 ‘genius hacks’ 🤦🏻

Im not sure if you can count using things for their intended purpose as a hack. But a couple good ideas in here. Thanks.
Haven't been to Ikea in a long time. Its a 40 min drive but you just gave me a reason to go there again!!
That mail basket on the front of your fridge is going to scratch the crap out of your fridge
the wood kitchen dish holder you showed also makes a great flip-flop holder.
Love the pillows and rugs!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Feliz Navidad y un prospero 2022 junto a toda tu familia!!
I love the tray side table!
You have shown some of these soooo many times in other videos. How many times can you keep recycling?

Or, if you want to be more Swedish/Scandinavian about it, pickle your own herring, jam, pickles, making your own liqueur, etc.
I love yours ideas!
Have a Happy and safe Christmas and New Year ❤️
I don't think I've ever seen a pompom made like that in my life
Great hacks I just felt bad about the blanket u used for the bags... lol looked like a nice blanket and cute too...
Me encanta!!!😉
How big are the golden legs for the ikea nightstand with four cubicles?
Merry Christmas to you & your family Liz from Scotland UK 🎅🏻☃️🎁🎄❤️

For the shelves I think #8 where did you get your gold feet for the bottom of the polka-dot white shelf?
I’m curious to know what IKEA you went to. It looks like that store has plenty of items in stock!
Where did you get the pink drill?

Just a question about the bags. Are they reusable? They say resealable online. Is this a reusable or just a way to say ziplock bags?

Half of these were just using the item as intended and not really “hacks”
Nothing wrong with that, but the title is misleading

America ikea is so cheap!! Tripple the prices in Canada ikea😢
a third of these "hacks" are just using the item as intended.....
Very few of these are hacks--most are you just buying stuff.
