1983 Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout, "The Lion of Lebanon", promotes his 1985 book "Mr. Olympia's Muscle Mastery" on Regis Philbin's Lifetime network show, "Lifestyles". Regis interviewed a number of bodybuilders during the 4 year run of this show. Sorry about the glitch in the middle, this came off a 40 year old VHS cassette.

One of my favorites! Samir is so well spoken. I have always been a fan, but I had never heard him in an interview. I miss the 80's when the old school bodybuilders were still competing, and the mainstream media also gave them TV time. We never see bodybuilding on TV anymore.

Agreed Derek, there was that brief period when pro bodybuilders popped up occasionally in mainstream projects, and contests were regularly shown on ESPN, and then POOF, gone!

Samir was a awesome spokesman for Bodybuilding imo, he was so laidback and knowledgeable and not all Cocky and arrogant
