For a few guys that are lost it looks like a decent product... gasoline kills all of these. So is it actually rated for gas?

Great question. I have always used mityvac ones and they've been good. I'm looking to buy one and actually want it for some gas and figured most of them just wouldn't stand up to it.

Not for 234$ - there are others out there for less money..

Would be great for non serviceable transmissions and master cylinders. 👍

I need something electric to vac out differentials. I have a small Capri pneumatic that gives me a headache everytime I use it. Any suggestions? Preferably 110v and cheap.

Tired of spilling oil all over the floor? This is a great alternative to remove oil in a cleaner way. You’ll still have to deal with the oil filter but still worth it. I’ve done 5 auto oil changes and one outboard boat change and it’s worked great using the manual pump handle which is part of the assembly. When I added compressed air it was quicker.

Always do your own research; this is not good for gas.

I think draining gas in a snowmobile is a better use or maybe even chain case or tranny

@7:14, you think it's the best out there.
    Compared to what other ones?
I'm trying to decide on a pneumatic model and in other video review of this product, the guy said the hoses were 2 @ 30" and 1 @ 36". That's kinda short. Have you tried on a pickup or large SUV?

I use these every time I can - especially doing multiple OCIS on a 20K mile filter. Mine is a mityvac - this units hose storage and large capacity is nice.

Taking gas a oil out of a lawn mower is the only use I could see for that. Not worth that

As a mechanic I've used the shit out of them. I use them for sucking out brake masters for flushes or to empty them before replacement to save on mess. Sick out power steering reservoirs for the same reasons. You can put them down trans or oil dipstick to suck some fluid out to adjust the level if overfilled. Suck down coolant and oil levels put of blocks when you have heads off to stop it from spilling on the gakset surface, all sorts of uses.

Great for boats with i/o drives. Old guys use em for oil changes so they don't have to crawl under the car (for cars with easy access oil filters, like Subaru).

It looks like a nice unit. I've been using an oil sucker for years for lawn mowers, generators and other small engines. It makes oil changes completely mess free. No more oil dripping and dealing with those pesky crush washers. I've only ever used units with a built-in pump. Does this unit have anything to regulate the air pressure do it doesn't blow up? How does it develop suction by applying pressure from an air compressor?

@@eosjoe565 what units have you used with a built in pump? I've only ever had ones like this either just manually pumped or with air. I was actually thinking it might be nice to have one with an electric pump but have never used one.

I'm asking someone who owns this. Serious question. How many "pumps" does it take to empty a 5 or 6 quarts for a vehicle by the hand method of pumping? Thanks! Looks like a really neat product. I'd use this for my Honda Odyssey and my Ford Econoline, Toro Super Recycler lawnmower, and my Suzuki GS-500F motorcycle 🏍️. This is awesome. Thanks guys!
