If I lived within driving distance, I would offer my help to Simon and their entire group of these big hearted folks. You guys/gals are doing the work of Saints. Thank you very much for doing so.
Neil forbes used to be the avian vet we saw at Swindon, he's retired from doing consultations now though although I still do the 120 mile round trip to the same avian practice whenever my budgie needs to see the vet.
I know that the Peregrine Falcons like them very much. I was standing in the yard last year, when suddenly like the phoenix, was a bird. It started hopping up & down & feathers were flying everywhere. Then the peregrine took off with a pigeon. It was shaking off it's flight feathers so it'd be easier to take to it's babies.
love these episodes! Simon is damn funny and he does a great job with the animals (they all do of course, they're heroes all of them at WAF). Simon and I also have one thing in common, I love badgers too! Though, I got to admit: when the Little sweetheart cub crawled between his legs trying to hide from the scary syringe I couldn't help to think: "What if she decides his crotch is better for biting than hiding? xD It's a nasty thought because that would probably mean castration but on the other hand badgers can be very nasty if scared so it's not completely impossible for it to happen. Though, I glad it didn't happen and I hope the cutie made it trough, got better and eventually got released into the wild :) keep up the awesome good work! Love from Sweden
I remember when I was about 8 I used to feed and catch pigeons with tangled legs on my playground and take them to the vet just in case. There was one catch and release I will never forget... The pigeon flew right in to someone's house, where the cat lived. He caught it and fortunately nothing serious has happened but it was a traumatic experience for me as a child nonetheless.
caliarielbubbles We are still putting rescue videos and patient stories on the channel, but it seems like short videos are more popular than episodes. Maybe we will put another episode up, but not in the near future. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy all our other videos! 05:16 I had to pause there because right after Simon called that pigeon fat, I swear it looked like he was scowling when he pulled his is head in like that. It made me chuckle D

It's more like you don't want to mess with them. They're not really aggressive if you don't provoke them by going near them or their cubs. 🙂 Just leave them be if they're not sick/hurt and it's all good.
I've got a bird that can't really fly. It was freezing cold when I found it and I want to release it as soon as it's ready but my house is warm and it's freezing rain outside. I don't want to temperature shock it. What should k do?
These episodes are so addictive. You guys are my heroes, 3 cheers for all of you!!! What kind and wonderful people you are!!!!
Lass-in Angeles HIP HIP HORAY HIP HIP HORAY HIP HIP HORAAAAYYYY

Lucy and Simon are the best Rescuers IN THE WORLD
Baby badgers seem so calm.
That pigeon's expression at his rescue when he faces the camera is all "I will END you!" XD Ahahahaaaaa, bone structures of birds is awesome XD
CraftyWitch yes
I wish people treated human depression like that badgers depression.

Where I live we have a bunch of pigeons and we see everything they do and they are beautiful
Cheryl Skelly lucky ;D .
I've never understood people who hate pigeons. They are such soft, beautifully-colored birds that make pleasant noises. What's not to like?
There's too many of them and they steal food from other birds
BG HawkzZ there's lots of humans and we steal.... they are like bird versions of the human race

They carry a shitload of diseases since they feed off human garbage. Or at least in the city.
Fox cub: Why do I have to gooo? Miss you, badge!

Even though you may loose a life don't worry millions of animals a being born or rescued
Are a badgers vicious? They seem so cute😱 and I wouldn't know because I live in Canada.
Leopoldo3 the older ones are, but this one is weak and young so it isn't as vicious as the older ones (I'm no animal expert so I may be wrong).
It's more like you don't want to mess with them. They're not really aggressive if you don't provoke them by going near them or their cubs. 🙂 Just leave them be if they're not sick/hurt and it's all good.
