I feel like half a chorus is not enough. It's so short to show off a partnership in dance which a switch comp should be all about and favors prepared flashy sequence over improvisation.
You can even see it in some of the competitiors. Sometimes you have an improvised idea that is actually pretty good but it will take a whole phrase to execute which is half your spotlight.
