The musicality of Skye and Frida are just levels above! They hit the little flourishes the band throws in as the band comes up with them...Its insane
My fav: Felipe & Ramona, Irina & Anthony, Dee & Felix!
My favourite performances are Jo+Peter, Dee+Felix and Caleb+Tyedric. But everyone else was amazing too, I love invitational draw

Lol it's not even fair that Skye and Frida drew each other! I actually think Irina and Anthony did really great and showed lots of musicality and playfulness and took more risks that paid off. It's all subjective, I guess.
Anthony and Irina are the other couple that drew their normal partner lol, seems to me like neither case should really happen in a mix’n’match
I dont think we can define "normal partners", like how many times do people have to dance with each other to be considered regular partners? Felix and Naomi drew each other 2 years in a row, is that considered regular? At least for me, I think the beauty in the draw format is luck and coincidence :)))
@@huonglarne Skye and Frida have been dancing and teaching together for well over a decade and Irina and Anthony are engaged. Definitely not the same as Felix and Naomi who live on different continents and have likely never (and if not that, rarely) taught together.
OK so I did not know that Irina and Anthony are engaged! 😆I would have not have made my comment if I knew! That explains their chemistry.

@@nickswingsout Great shoutouts, Nick. Just wanted to say that Máté's surname is spelled Csike. Jason also tends to use 'Hsu' for Latin alphabet spelling (so will be easier to find that way). You can also sometimes find him as Hung Jie Hsu, and he has a mixed Chinese and English language podcast called Swing 大小事｜PrideVoice (most episodes are in predominantly Chinese but some are mostly in English)
