They are great for pumping, also they maintain speed very well because of their weight/momentum and surface. But at the same time they are more slippery at wet conditions when comparing to orangatang kegels 80mm 80a on loaded icarus and hawgs plaw kings 72mm 78a on ly dinghy. Also they are much more robust then kegels, after 300+ km there is no sign of wear. While 5-month old kegels are already glued all around because they crack. So I'd like to try them on my icarus also, but guess they won't fit without some extra spacers making icarus taller. But for double drop decks like supersonic I'd highly recommend to try McFlys.
It's great for my 83 kg (183 lbs). A little flex and not too wide (as 8 ply is). One should keep in mind the weight considerations on the pantheon site.
How do find the McFlys in comparison with other similar wheels on the market?
Any favourites?

Great fun for sure! How do you like the 7 ply? What’s your weight?
