Alum here of both UT and LHB......this gets the burnt orange blood churning, in a good way, and makes me want to scream and scream and chant "GO HORNS, GO!!" 13 days till kick off to the 2011-12 season!! HOOK EM HORNS!! Oh, and awesome job in the video, you guys :) Thanks for bringing those memories back to life!!
@SmileyTheJoker yeah the main thing i like about the TXSU drumline is that they do a lot of gimmicks when they go up against another drumline. most of their gimmicks are them mocking the other drumlines style by immitating it then they'll stop and say something like lets show you what a real drumline looks like and they start chopping out the other drumlines. TXSU drumline in my opinion is the most dangerous drumline in the SWAC
At 6:00, you have the same cadence we do in Illini Drumline(U of I). Someones been snoopin around stealing shit!! At least you guys are tryin I guess to sound ok.
this was good but i prefer texas southern university drumline. im not comparing the two or saying one is better than the other im just stating who i prefer. anyway i suggest you check out texas southern 2010 line. in the search you might want to type in Funk Train since that's the name of texas southern's drumline.
@TheDragonmaster18 yeeesss ! i agree TXSU goes in (: they're visuals are amazing and i love their style. but i like both, The Longhorn Band is amazing as well. but TXSU drumline is very entertaining.
Glad to see the tenors using proper mallets, I get annoyed to see drum lines using regular sticks on them and the sound is horrible. This is how tenors should sound.
BYU is way better. - in 550 ways. Your execution is off. . wrong angles. . . You're just not executing. you should fire your high-step coordinator and bring in the old high-step coordinator. If only you brought in and extra drummer in the box, maybe you could fix this. - BYU's lead drummer is still drumming . .still drumming .. CAN'T BE. CAUGHT. GO COUGARS. BOOM!
5:31 I swear that’s the snare part from 2017 metamorph blue devils

Thank you for posting this. I am almost in tears when I see or hear this great band. Hook'em Horns
My friend Andreya plays tenors. She's pretty kickass too.
SNARES. In some of those 16th note rolls, PAY ATTENTION TO THE CHECK PATTERN. 16th rolls have the same arm speed/motion as just straight 16ths.
