- 2nd FoW chapter. This time there are breakable walls that will drain the water after breaking them.
Fliers are definitely good to have, they can fly over and break the walls for the rest to cross. Other than that it's the same, get the treasures, rush towards the seize point before the reinforcements catch up, etc.
The only thing to take note is Valkain. He moves after your party reached a certain area, he has a stealable item, and most importantly he has the pass skill, so don't be like me and try to trap him just because you see that he equips a 2-3 range weapon.

Can't believe I managed to promote 2 characters at my own pace here even when most of the time I'm just yeeting the trio. Yup, it's gonna be much faster now since both of them are magic users.

So next chapter , to get the next gaiden ,ending the map under 20 turn and Orville + Eileen alive
The village give a devil bomb normally but if Orville or 1 of the recruitable reach the village you get something else
: Orville = Silver card + Energy ring
Lieutenant = Short bow lol
Druid = 2 dark tomes + blue gem + (energy ring dont remember)
You can only recruit one of them but the druid is obviously better because brave dark tome go brrr
The dark tome is so good, it even gives stats. Self damage is easy to deal with when the enemy does not survive
Can't wait till Prosel gets promoted.
All he has to do is wear that cape I bet

You need to end it before turn 20 for a gaiden. (Also have Eileen and Orville alive)
The passable mountain behind the main castle has a secret shop with bombs.
You have to choose between the Druid and the Lieutenant, the one you don't pick will be available later if you don't kill them.
The village gives different rewards depending on who goes there:
Orville:Only silver card, and a power ring.
Madari(druid) : Some dark tomes, ring, blue gem.
Evans(Lieutenant) : different rewards(I didn't pick him)
Everyone else: devil bomb.

I’ve played up to chapter 11 or so. This game is challenging like a puzzle. Sometimes I struggle even with save states on normal mode. I should have chosen easy mode! It wouldn’t be so bad if I could promote my mages quicker and every enemy wasn’t so fast!! Annie is amazing though. Still dies in 2 bits but one rounds everything
I can tell you even the easy mode is challenging me, but IT can only for me the case
Like what others said for chapter 17:
1) End it in 20 turns for the gaiden chapter.
2) The next unit to recruit is an Arran and Samson Archetype where you have to choose between two units. One is a druid and the other a guerilla. Choice is dependent on which you prefer, you either get a "brave dark tome" or the brave bow. But the one you dont choose will join you automatically later.
3) There's a secret shop behind the north castle.
4) Visit the village with Orville so you can get the Silver Card.
I am wondering if you give guiding ring to Cadence. Looking at the support conversation with her uncle. The ideal move should be giving the ring to her. Also I didn't play the mod.
P.S : Please promote Marilyn. She is just sitting at her unpromoted corner.
Her promotion is story based and happens after chapter 19, I believe
