When you see Nev out in the lucky jumper, you know the fishing is going to be fire! One question, why don't you use circle hooks all the time? They seem to set really well.
The octopus hooks have a slightly better hookup but I use circles a fair bit

Thanks for the video Nev. Seemed like an enjoyable session and exceeded even your expectations. Just a question. I have a pretty good idea where you fish and know once you’re out there you have to sit through a low and wait till the tide comes in. Have you ever been caught out with conditions becoming dangerous and unable to return in due to a lack of water? I know a few bit of planning goes into each trip and it all appears to be easy. But in a small craft like yours you can become vulnerable to the elements very quickly. Stay safe
Thanks mate! I always try to plan trips around good weather but you do get caught out every now and again. I try to have all safety measures ready incase things go south

Silicone the transducer in the bottom of the kayak on the inside of your kayak .

@@teeanahera8949 I have heard of that, which is crazy. I have an aquarium and see videos where they feed pet fish and shrimp live fish & crabs - it's totally gruesome, and totally ok with UA-cam.

You reckon a 6ft 10-20 kg with 50 lb braid would work for the bigger bay snapper, also was wondering if u could do a fillet video maybe. ❤
That would work!
Probably overkill to use 50lb braid and such a heavy duty rod. Halve both of those.

Losing grip of reality buddy? Nev is really sitting in his kayak in his lounge room, with silicone Snapper, plastic Pinkies, rubber Gummy shark, Elephant fish and a pet gull. His mate has a spray bottle and sprays water on the GoPro lens to add authenticity. This is all done on a skate board to make it look like the kayak is bobbing in the water. Sounds legit. 🤦🏻 There is a flat earth channel that I think you should visit and STAY THERE.
