For me, comedy started to go down hill in the 1980s when the alternative brigade came along, with their politically correct comedy, trying to dictate what we should laugh at and trying to censor the likes of Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson, Benny Hill etc. As for the joke itself, it was no different to what Manning would have told forty or fifty years ago. It was just a joke it's Hunter and the audiences reaction I find sickening.

Reginald D Hunter is about as funny as throat cancer. Don't think I have ever laughed once at any of his unwelcome TV panel show appearances over the years. Can't even hear what he says most of the time.

I don't believe that the entire audience thought that joke was funny, there would have been plenty of other people who also thought that in these troubled times that joke was inappropriate and unfunny, and to those people I say, that for not standing with these two women who were being bullied by a prominent comedian and his audience of sheep, shame on you, you are all cowards!
