I have a few questions I’ve always loved these kinds of hair styles just to look at they are beautiful it’s pretty much a necessity that you have to do these isn’t it? Otherwise you have to deal with frizz? But so was just wondering how you wash it? If you shampoo wouldn’t it become messy? And are some of these styles like meant to stay in for ages so they get redone every now and again or?
Question queen do you have to straighten the hair before you braid it to make it neat? I don’t want to damage my man’s hair with heat Everytime I braid it cause I’ll probably be braiding it once a month..
My step son is African American and I just cut his hair for the first time. He’s showing more interest in some braids and I am going to try some on him, but I have to ask, what’s the product you are putting in the part? any education is appreciated
That hairstyle is so nice! I really wish I could do that on my hair but I don't think it would work out as I have very thin blonde hair, I think I would look bald haha Quick questions: doesn't it hurt to have the hairstyle made? It looks to me they pull the hair quite hard. Doesn't it give headaches? Sometimes when I do ponytails they hurt and give me a headache haha Also, how often do you have to change the hairstyle? Like every time you want to change... or when it grows a little bit? Does it take a lot to time to be done? Thanks in advance for the answers, just curious! XXX
Hey 👋🏽, it not supposed to hurt if you get a proper hairstylist to do it for you, it does not give head ache, you need to have it redone every 3 weeks, it takes about an hour. Hope I answered all your questions
@@W10_01 I think hair around 1-4 inches should be enough for braiding. And straight hair, depending on the density and thickness of the strands and color of the hair would all look different. I've seen people with straight hair (thick or thin) wear this and it looks good on some people and others, not so much. You have to also find the right style that fits your face the most.
@@felixmanj1367 thank you for your answer. If my hair was 3 or 4 inches long how long would the braids be? like would it be long enough to maybe touch the back of my neck? and if i have more hair on the top than the side should i shorten it from the top and make it even and then braid it or just go for it? thanks alot for these answers
@@W10_01 I think just braid it and don't cut it. And they would probably be just touching your neck. Do one braid and see if it works for you. I can't see your hair so I'm not able to give you more than that.
question... my 4 year old has straight fine hair . I like to braid the night before because I take like an hour to braid his hair and never have time to do it before we leave. Is the pomade/gel braiders usually use in thick, coarse, or curly hair work the same as someone with straight hair ? could I wrap his hair at night for frizz free braids ?
I don’t know any pomade of gel used to thicken hair You should always wrap his hair at night for other reasons My braids are never frizzy so I never had this problem
@@stylebylamsie sorry, meant a gel that's used for different textured hair or are they all for the same hair type ? will it work the same on straight fine hair vs someone with thick curly hair ? I have used it in his hair before but can't seem to keep the braids frizz free overnight.
@@lmae8218 yes mama, it will work the same. But since his hair is straight a lighter holding gel will work just as fine. Use ecostyler the green one, or a regular hole shine and Jam
If you want frizz free braids yes you need to wrap it. Make sure you’re using enough gel (I struggled with this in the beginning) & you can also mousse the finish look & dry with a blow dryer 💪
Hi,I'm a 13 yr old boy ,I live in Chicago,i am going to book an appointment here, where is it,my hair is the size of his hair,if not bigger, where r u located?

Nice! How long does my hair have to be to get similar results as far as the stitching?
6 inch
Great job i braid my sons hair but have a little problem with getting all my part even. Anyone have any suggestive help.
Practice
Try parting through the middle first
Always stand in the direction you are trying to part. It helps a lot !
work in half’s ! split the head in half the take one section split that in two then split those in two until u have desired amount of braids
Beautiful! What time of hair mousse do you use?
Nairobi

Keep water away and wear a durag when he sleeps

I noticed alot of braiders can't keep the braid in the middle of the part while braiding
