Removing old carpet padding that sucks.

Pulled up the old carpet. Found the underlayment GLUED to the old finish. This the best, painfully slow way I've found to remove it.

The “installers” of the 1970’s carpet here added a green felt to the pad…all glued. Nightmare but the hardwood floors are there so…I trudge on. 🤬

This totally sucks😂 I am removing old pad and adhesive from stairs so I can install hard surface. Why didn't I think of a heat gun!?! Thanks!
