Hi, new viewer here! Found you by searching for the game. Went into the video a bit skeptical over what your qualifications are as a "roguelike expert," but as I watched I could see a little evidence for that by how quickly you picked up on some smaller details that a lot of others miss their first few playthroughs, ex. troll's regen cancelling out 1 poison. Subbed and hope to see more S&D! 1:13:59 the valkyrie's deathwish was enough to kill the hydra thru brute force instead of using the 5-hit trick 1:26:09 thus, the importance of that heal + cleanse side, it cures petrify for those longer fights against certain enemies 1:38:42 this game (moreso than any other dice-based game I've seen) does a great job at featuring RNG in a fair manner where it's still your own fault if you lose (at least on the difficulty settings that aren't explicitly unfair)
@principleshipcoleoid8095 very true, generate is an entirely different beast than the base game, I'd include it as an explicitly unfair/unbalanced setting; it definitely exists for the fun of it, not for a balanced gameplay experience lol
You were asking about how to lock in all of your dice at once. The end turn button says done rolling when you don't have all of your dice locked in. Clicking that locks in your unlocked dice.
Lmao it was kinda fun to see you getting stuck not understanding some things like with the eliminate keyword (it really is just a condition for the face, if it has eliminate, the enemy MUST target the lowest hp enemy, as plain as that), even after hours upon hours of card games it still happens uh? Tell me about it haha Also not understanding the tutorial xD
Oh that makes sense for eliminate lol, i thought it was an execute keyword. “Target must have the least hp for it to activate” Most card games don’t use keywords in this way so it is definitely off putting to me xD, I always expect additional effects. Tend to overthink things, such is the life of a MTG player.
@@krowzLite yeah I never delved into MTG so I keep a much simpler mind when faced with things like these hahaha, try not to overcomplicate stuff at least at the beginning

Hard generate can be unfair tho. Generates tbf does not pretend to be balanced

Man, so glad to see you playing this!
Picked it up on my phone, may have been a mistake as hours of my life keep vanishing every time I play. 😂
I wish it was out on IOS I would be playing it non stop… The perfect phone game…
Edit: HOLY SHIIIIIT THEY RELEASED IT TODAY ON IOS
@@krowzLite Yes. Yes they did.
Oh Eliminate sees the enemy damage from attack before it on same turn. I didn't know that
I wonder what a new player's view of greens will be.
This game slaps
For sure does! Very excited to play it atm.
I was hoping for you to check this out lmao
Incredible game, I think I have bought it 3 times already x)
I bought it twice so far xD, such a gem of a game
Hydra just works like if you deal dmg to it 5 times it dies without taking into account any of its remaining hp. You just killed it naturally lmao.
At 1:33:15 Rescue can be used infinitely, if you actually rescue a unit, which you didn't in that instance x)

Yep I found out spacebar was the shortcut for that as well. Helps out a lot!

This game throws keywords at me left and right xD. I’m having trouble understanding some, prob have to read the help tab.
