I wonder how Viktor felt about finally getting to talk to Friedhelm after three years and not knowing whether or not his young friend was still alive it breaks my heart to. Hear the happiness in Viktor's voice as he is able to talk to his friend
I wander if Viktor had any idea that this would be the last time he saw his best friend alive also I wonder if Viktor ever told Wilhelm about it after the war at least I hope so
Excellent series. I cannot imagine an SS Colonel would be wandering around in a dangerous area like that. Friedhelm would have also made sure the officer was dead, as he would be in serious trouble otherwise, facing court martial!
Shot straight away no court martial personally I think the warpped ss colonel got his just deserves nice to see him on the receiving end and good riddance .... burn in hell
@@chrispritchard3775 Unlikely it would happen in the US Army. Colonels atre well protected there. The SS were somewhat slack in their security. Look at what happened to OGF R T E Heydrich.
After all the combat Friedhelm has seen I'm sure he was quite the expert at judging whether someone was fatally wounded. What's so monstrous is how the SS Stürmbannfuhrer smirks and delights at seeing Friedhelm slowly become just like him.

Court martial? Don't make me laugh. He would be tied to a stake and be executed by firing squad IF HE WAS LUCKY.
court martial HE WOULD BE SHOT

And no other German soldiers heard that shot ?
I wonder if these characters were actually in the war?
Why does he have a bunch of unbroken dogtags?
