I actually have heard of Silencer Central a couple years ago on the Backcountry Hunting podcast with Joseph VonBenedikt. They definitely have grown and added more models since then. I am tempted to cut down the barrel of my Savage M110 Long Range Hunter in .300 WSM to 22 in. (since the “adjustable” is no longer adjustable and muzzle brakes hurt my ears 👂 when hunting and I don’t have time to throw ear pro in.) I then want to get the Banish Backcountry and add it to my rig. I hope to use it in Wyoming this fall for mule deer 🦌
That Backcountry really appeals to me. Got to ask being I live in Las Vegas, did you know the weather would be as cold and windy as it was? Yeah not as cold as a lot of places but people are pretty surprised that it isn’t shorts weather here in January. Definitely shorts weather in July though! Great video!
They do seem to make the process of getting a can easy.I used silencer shop for my Rugged obsidian 45,and I thought that was easy.May have to give these guys a try on a 22lr can.

Do you end up on an unofficial list, or am I being paranoid? I’m becoming more and more interested in buying and training with one.

Instead of regulating them the government should make them mandatory on new guns to save your hearing. You know, like they did with seatbelts. Not really about safety is it.

ATF has to approve you and you are on a list, yes
