I am not a member quite yet but will be soon. I have found a Buffalo nickel with no date or mint mark on a penny planchet! It is fully flattened out & one of the most exciting coins I have ever seen. Anyway I can post a couple of pictures to get some info on this? Love your channel, thank you,
Ryan
Thanks for the Good Info. On the 1964-D Jefferson thats graded PCGS MS66FS, The fs stands for full steps designation which makes this coin more rare and valuable. The grading companies will assign a full step designation on the nickel as long as they have at least five steps visible at the base of Monticello on the reverse without any disturbance of the steps. Any major disturbance or interruption of these steps or lines, whether caused by contact, planchet problems, or another source, will result in the coin's not being designated FS. Only the slightest weakness on any step (line) is allowed for this designation. The 64-D is listed in the PCGS price guide when graded at that level, as 1,350 for 66FS and only 30 for a 66 without full steps. The top level grade 66+ without full steps is 550 so still quite lower than with full steps. The most recent sale on heritage auction for PCGS MS66FS was $1,020.00 on Feb 16, 2021 while a 1964-D 5C MS65 Full Steps PCGS sold for $504 so grade also does matter as you mentioned.

Yo imagine if some coin expert buys your coin for 500 tells you that’s what it’s worth and then hsells it for 3000 dlrs or more
Thank you, very good to know, I will look for these.
I have one I just found it in my piggy bank
Do you know that I have a piece of 64 that is distinguished by the letter D and the letter C? Many things. When you approach it, there is a letter X on its forehead.
1872 185 ¢2 20 @Couch Collectables thank you for the share
“Full Steps” is a grading designation used for circulation strike Jefferson Nickels which have at least five full steps visible at the base of Monticello on the reverse. Broadly speaking, the designation is used to identify coins which have been fully struck. In order to receive the designation, there must be no disturbance of the steps due to strike weakness, contact marks, or planchet problems.
"FS"

@@couchcollectibles I have thousands of these damn things that were brought back from the USA by my wife's long deceased father and to me they are a pile of junk. Hundreds and hundreds are absolutely as new as of 2022. These coin grading services make me laugh and the pricing is simply ridiculous. Maybe a few dollars for any of them. By the time you read this they will be smelted at local scrap dealer for AU$100.00. Cheers.
Nice video..tnks

Hi I have 4 nickel 1964. Where should I sent it to give me the values?
Lots of nickels, I will be checking those out. Again thank you for all the time you spend to collect information and share with us. 👍 👍 👍
Thanks Lynn
where would I sell this cent coin? This 1964 Jefferson cent is not damage but since it's old, it is dirty.
I have the first coin you showed how can I sell it
If I lived in the US, I would have collected a lot of those "Nickels", because the metal of the planchet alloy is actually worth well over 5 cents. So, it's likely that they will be replaced with something cheaper, just like they did with the bronze pennies..
Hi I liked your video. We found a nickel that was odd. But it doesn't have a letter on it and seems likes it's copper. It's a 1964 nickel. How can I tell which one it is?
I have heard alot of the time thats what happens when coins are in nature you can tell the difference by weighing a normal one then the one you have
i have 1 of this 1964D
