You rock bro
One of 3 smallest cars in the world, had the nickname of bubble cars, that black/blue car look like a 1940s Riley they ended up being made by Roots.
I'm confused you spent $20k on taxiis then?
You're 6ft 4? You'll probably hit 40 mpg on a bicycle lol
Dude the Blue Renault from France was an R8 Gordini, quite a rare beast. Gordini was a aftermarket engine builder. The R8 gordini was special build for Rallying. the original 1000cc engine was replaced with a high spec 4 cylinder 1400 cc with crossflow hemi head, duel side throat webers, extractors, upgraded Suspension, wheels and brakes. the extra driving lights to the front were also added. Racing seats and extra gauges in the dash. I served as a Renault Mechanic in Australia on a couple of these little beasts.
I was just going to write this. The valves in these are bigger than a Holden V8.
this need to be pinned
Cool
RIP Australia 🇦🇺
I've been looking for an R17 engine to replace my Europa's old R16... otherwise, I'm doing the 4AGE swap.
@Marcus Baca try not to attribute to malice, that which could easily be explained by ignorance.
Chad really doesn't mean bad. He just didn't grow up in Europe.
You never fail with new and fresh content. Thanks Chad for taking a gamble on making a video some might not be interested in but I know most of your subs probably really enjoyed this video and the new content lately. Coming from a automotive Technician that was raised building HotRods and Harleys. It never ceases to amaze me where so many of these cool old cars will be found. Derek, VA 🇺🇸
Hi Chad, the Mitsubishi 4x4 (NIKON) was a rally car built in Sonata France, they raced them in the Paris - Dakar and Winns Safari Australia I was fortunate enough to be a driver for the Mitsubishi media team in Australia for about 4 years. The car was a complete Kevlar body and full race specs. Mitsubishi dominated these 2 events for about 5 years.
I like the bloke. To not have any idea of this being Dakar related is being very American.
Thailand is so cool! Love the cars. Thanks for showing us around town.
Dude, that Mitsubishi Pajero at the show is a Paris-Dakar race truck. The hardest long distance rally in the world. 2 weeks, thousands of miles. A SUPER special truck, built by Sonata. Amazing to see something like that in Thailand! Greetings from Atlanta!
Thai rally driver Siriwattanakun Ponsawan T2 - 1 CLASS WINNER at the wheel of a long wheelbase PAJERO/MONTERO powered by a V6 engine. Dakar Rally 1993
That was a fun video. I've owned a 1959 MGA (1st car) and did a lot of hands on restoration. I've also owned a yellow Toyota Celica identical to the one in the video (bought it new in 1973). I am now retired, but still keep a 2004 Porsche Boxster S just for the fun. It feels like driving a go-cart on the street.
The Mitsubishi Parejo you saw is very rare and it used for desert rally. The fact the vehicle survived is a miracle, often times the desert claims vehicles.

"No knock offs on my car"...besides the car itself. Still a gem tho : )
Love the tone and format of this video. Brings me back to your older flogging days, which were much more enjoyable in my opinion.
Awesome vid Chad!! Love the OG cars. ✌️
Thanks Chad, some of us here are old enough to remember parts stores like that. And miss them...
Great vid, love the live streams as well! Keep it up!
Love Thailand car culture
so much different things
This was great content
My dad used to be a big VW person in the van that you were talking about it is called a 21 window and they are very rare. My favorite is the Karmin Ghia and the sirocco.
The ol' Sirocco. I learned to drive in a manual Sirocco back in the late 80's in the west Texas desert. Not to many people even know what those are and I havn't seen one in 30 years I bet. Cool car!!!!
Chad you rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
Really enjoyed this 1 A lot !
Thank you take care
I remember when the closest thing to speed shops in America (1960's) was The Pep Boys (I can still remember the smell of tires when you entered the stores), or mail order from J.C. Whitney. And it wasn't unusual to order by mail, cams and headers and floor shifters for whatever you were racing at your local "Saturday night" speedway (mine was Saugus Speedway or Ascot).
Awesome vid bro... keep it comin🤙🏾👊🏾✌🏾
another sick video! great content Chad!
Good vlog again CB, some of those rides are top shelf collectors items
You've been gaining subs like crazy! Good stuff brother
Found your channel today, and by far , your channel is my favorite UA-cam channel as of today ❤
Pretty nice, love the vid til the end chad keep it up bro 👍
Nice work Chad, i love how you find these places. I always find it crazy how much stock Thai shops of any sort carry. Computerized multinational parts stores would have a fit.
Wow! I hope to visit Thailand someday. Seems like a great place
Cool store and awesome to see those old collector cars in a place like Thailand!
My parents had a yellow Toyota Corolla , before I was born. I only know it from old blurry pictures , cool to see one in that good shape. My grandfather had a Toyota Crown in the '80 s , it was a solid and classy looking car.
Chad Renault had an F1 team, I'm amazed you didn't who they were , loved this video we need more like this one for the true car guys 👌 and how cool is that café
I saw you today by the elevator. Thanks for the selfie pictures! Stay awesome brotha! You’re bad@55
Thanks for saying hello
Excellent vid. CB thank you.
Great video Chad thanks for share stay safe best greetings from korat.👍
I noticed they had your vid on the TV. That’s cool 😎 love your vids bro
Chad - fantastic contents you've created and well done. Blue Moon - damm... it's a must do when i get there.
Reminds me of the original cb media videos, the style, the vlog the train… love it
I tried to talk about this video at work and now I'm scheduled for an appointment with HR for discussing Creampai videos.
love it when cb media uploads! some of the best content on youtube
3 days left until reunion with my favorite city in the world too bkk we’re back baby after 3 years 🫶🏼
hate picking favorite cities, each has thier own pros and cons, bangkok is cool but once you travel to many cities around the world its hard to pick a favorite. i dont understand how people can pick favorites if they travelled to like 1% of place in the world , pretty sad.
@Wayne Anthony Holmes bkk over rated , ho chi mihn is better , and you missed his point when you pick a fav u limit urself lol,
@@rmd7713 This.
@Wayne Anthony Holmes i mean , america has 100s of cities but i think he meant around the world , not in 1 country lol, also "100s" of cities is about 1% of cities in the world lol, so imagine how much more you missed , the biggest city in the western hemisphere is sao paulo in brazil (metro population , bigger than any city in USA) , pretty underrated city and most people dont think about it. also ho chi mihn is more authentic than BKK , too americanzied
@Wayne Anthony Holmes if BKK is ur fav out of 100s then you must be abit sad
Love how the parts shop was playing CB Media channel while you shopped there. Meta AF!
thanks for the upload chad...
5:48 the shop TV is playing your videos 😄
Well I must say, I really enjoyed this one as well. I actually loved seeing the older cars .. Definitely worth the trip. :)
Chad: I'm going to do my best to not be distracted by the... SQUIRREL!!
🤣🤣
Me: That electric blue COE was cool AF 👍😀
“I need to stop being distracted by the cars”… LOL.
I remember a Super Autobacs in Orange County some time back. Beautiful store. It unfortunately opened at a time when import tuning was on its downward trend and closed some time later.
Old oriental proverb. Man who walk through airport door sideways, is most likely going to Bangkok.
I'm from San Diego California we used to have a place called Super Shops and it was like heaven! there is nothing like being able to touch feel and smell all of the aftermarket racing parts in one shop. it was like putting on a hoodie out of the dryer on a cold wet day...
Yup....Crager and Centerline rims there ! 😎
@@philbalon6992 man if I could have had a pair of centerline's they always just looks so damn cool on the display wall
Damn, the video quality of your vids are top notch!
I'de love to come to Thialand and experience it firsthand, thanks to you!
Love the the Bkk vids, that’s a nice new wheel you got😊👍 I might go check it out myself. Can they install them there buddy?
I think so, they were installing a set of taillights outside when I was there so I’m sure they can help. The girl that works there speaks great English too.
@@CBMedia404 cheers mate 🍻
I always smile at the way you treat all the pups you meet... it speaks to your energy and spirit.
I always here sweaty-cup....lmao. the way you say it. So funny
Damm this is one of your best to date, the cars are awesome. Thanks
The dog at 3:55 is so goshdarn cute and he,s 12?! look young for 12, omg
WOW even Mall Car Shows in Thailand can reveal automotive GEMS!! 🤙😎
I miss NOPI stores. I’m with you Chad. That’s a great looking store. Wish we had these in the US
This is my kind of vid….love it🔥🔥🔥🔥
Glad you are back in Thailand
I actually owned a 23 Window Samba back in the mid to late 70's. It was a little rough but it was running and driving when I sold it. I regret selling it to this day, but back then they were just another VW Van.
Definite NOPI vibes in there. I recall the NOPI shop in Atlanta, but it was nearly closed the last time I went. Just APC junk everywhere and really pared down from the old days.
And in case no one mentioned it, it's [Reh-NO], not [RAY-NAulT]. We Americans aren't privledged enough to get the pronunciations of the French cars nailed down back home.
And I wanna see more of that detail shop! Some seriously sweet rides there!
Hey Chad, Nice video 👍🎥.
Those COVs are as rare as rocking horse shit here in Australia. I’ve only seen one in the flesh and as you pointed out they are super cool 😎.
Cheers.
That doggo tho 🥹 hahah
Car scene is insane over there. Love your contents
Colorado plate on the R/T Challenger was from the movie "Vanishing Point".
How cool to see all those classic's like brand new (or even better)
Renault, it's just one of the biggest car manufacturer companies in the world. It's just hilarious how you don't know them. Keep going with the good work. I really enjoy your videos.
Bro - your video starts out at Asok - my company regional office is in the Interchange building. Going to check out that Bluemoon Restaurant for sure - thanks for the tip 🙏🏻
Great video thanks man
I don't know anything about old cars, but man oh man those are beauties. Someone has spent countless hours restoring those pieces of history. Amazing
As always great vehicles, looking forward to a video on the built Honda Freeds, Citys, Streams and Mazda 2 sedans.
i am from thailand I'm glad you came to review my country.
I love your videos keep up the good work and I hope to see you one day
If you r wondering about the price of the licenses plates number 7777 Bangkok, it costs at least 100k US dollars. And the meaning of that number is Prosperity in life and success. You might take one Chad..👍👍
Awesome video, I cant believe that dog was 12 years old! He looked like a pup.
He did not walk well. That is a sign of an old Pomeranian dog who has joints problem.
New sub, love your vids 👍
So cool Prostreet Shop I never been there before but I went to 25G 1 time for wash my car and drink beer in Blue Moon Bar very beautiful shop I love it
los angeles in my racing days we had options in the late 99s early 2000s for shops
Those corollas are the KE10 and KE15 variants. The latter having the fastback rear window(KE15), also has the same body as the sprinter variant in some markets of the same year.
Your car style is definitely my car style. The rally car and the Blue Bird/510 look awesome.
used to have a bmw 328is that was the same jade green...beautiful color!!
Actually, the classic car event was a joy to watch. Could have had more B-roll of that.
Amazing video and great content
👍👍nice vid bro
Love the vlogging and cars in same video
LOL, a car nut like myself and you totally missed the Lamborghini tractor,,,, bro , youre slipping ,lol, great vid as always though.
Man i haven't seen a small business centered around car performance parts here in Texas besides in the flea markets or the speaker selling businesses. Although Summit racing has become popular here immediately. A local business just opened up that sells special cleaning products tho. I cant wait to see Cream Pai!
The Town Car was one of the dopest on there lol, almost fully loaded too, such a 80s land yacht
Yeah I was shocked and excited to see that beast lol so random lol
your videos make me want to travel to Thailand
Excellent Chad
Tennessee speed and sport had an amazing store back in 2000-2002. Nashville had some decent car culture.
As you would say, Those are some pimp ass 'rollas... 1966 was 1st year. Had a 71 with a 1600 2T-C
Nice bumping into you, Friday night , briefly (hotel)
7:35 Omg - NSX 🔥🔥
That thing is sick 🤕🤢🤙
All these years I still want one..
Does anyone know how to buy side mirror for vw cc 2008 on ebay.,,ive been trying so hard but .uck,.just dont know what part numbers do i need,.if anyone can help
There’s a serious amount of money in that concourse the blue Renault looks to be a Renault 8 which is a French car from the 70s but the Mitsubishi from the Dakar rally is my favourite
Hey chad
Great mix of cars mate
Any noteworthy car shows on between 06 th and 25 th June
Cheers 🍻
There is a mom and pop race store in Independence Louisiana. It’s called Clausens Racing. You can literally walk in with a pile of cash and walk out with everything you need to have a race car built from nothing.
4:00 - No fake parts. Definitely no Soi Dogs. 👍👍🤣🤣
Lol
Aw man, that’s a toy store for me for sure! You know we used to have a Japanese “AutoBacs” store in So Cal for a few year but it closed down not sure what happened. Anyway, there’s a Thai off-road dune buggies like kind of races. Do you know about them? Might be good to check it out. 😊
This was, again, absolutely freaking mindblowing! 🤯
